The Attack...

Daisy was awakened by the sound of gunfires, there seemed to be a chaos. She opened her eyes, the time appeared to be around midnight, she was back in Robert's house and he stood by the window, looking outside.

"What's going on?", she asked in a anxious tone.

"When the hunters tribe forced the warlock to create the matrix, he forgot to close it and now, we are under attack!", he sighed.

"Then what are you doing here, let's go..", Daisy stood from her bed.

"No, only above level-thirty souls are allowed to participate in the war."

"But my father's out there!!"

"So is mine.", he replied in an annoyed tone.

"You keep following the rules, I can sit idly as my father fights on a battlefield.", she and said an ran for the door. It was locked.

"It was your father who locked us in here. He knew that you would not listen."

"He knows me well, but not entirely. There are things that he doesn't know.", Daisy smirked as she moved closer to Robert, who stood fixed at his place, seemingly knowing, that she may play a trick.

She walked closed to him, to the point that the distance between them was no more than an elbow's, and played her fingertips lightly up his chest, before going up on her tip-toes and closing down the distance between their lips. When the distance was around just a centimeter, she whispered,

"For example, that I am agile as a cat." and jumped out of the window, beside which he stood, dumfounded by the sudden change of events.

She landed on her feets, apparently not at all hurt from a third floor jump. She waved back at Robert, who seemed to be concerned for her.

She had reached close to the fighting-ground, when the heavy aroma of blood made her almost lose her self-control. She bit her hand and sucked her own blood, but her syndrome seemed to have acted-up to its extreme, when she spotted a rabbit hole at a distance. Hurting a small animal was beyond something she would do, but right now, she had to help the ones she cared for.

Just a little blood won't hurt it much, she thought as she ran for it.

The moment she dig into it, she loved the taste of someone else's blood except herself. The realization of having drunk too much came, only after she had sucked the last drop of its blood. She hugged her knees, to stop the shivering.

What had she done, how can she let the disease take a toll of her, again. She hated herself for it. But she had no time to regret, her father was on the battlefield.

She got up and prepared herself, just to see Robert standing right behind her, his eyes showing the shock and fear, of what he had witnessed.
