"I think we don't have to worry about the assassins." I said to everyone as we waited for Ruby's return from her fight with Speed-o'-Sound Sonic.

"Why would you say that?" Weiss asked, glancing up from admiring her blue-painted nails, done by Namine. Her expression was a mix of curiosity and concern. "Wouldn't they show up a couple of hours from now?"

"Wait, what?" Weiss stood up instantly, her expression of concern. "What do you mean you accidentally killed the assassins? Or the fact that the assassins had already appeared when we were not ready?"

"I was kind of testing out my new power, Glinching." I began, trying to explain the unexpected turn of events. "By accident, I somehow used it together with Boundary Manipulation. This caused space and time to glitch, pulling the incoming assassins into an earlier time before they were supposed to appear before us. Glitching... glitches everything and somehow interrupts it, leading to the assassins fading from existence either by instantly aging to their death or disappearing, reverting their ages back to becoming a baby, then a fetus, and poof."

"So we don't have to deal with the assassins tonight?" Weiss asked carefully, her eyes darting around the room, searching for any potential signs of dead assassins in the walls that were just popping out of them or were visible in plain sight.

"I guess?" I shrugged my shoulders, feeling bewildered. "Honestly, I'm more confused about why Boundary Manipulation decided to jump in and work together with Glitching, leading to... this." I tilted my head, staring at the ceiling as if the answers were hidden there, though they weren't. "Anyway, it's taking a while since Ruby left to face her challenging opponent."

Then, as if someone had heard my question and answer, a faint sound echoed through the room, causing us to look around, and a rainbow portal appeared in front of me.

"We have night class?" Weiss asked with surprise as she fully woke up, shaking off any remains of sleepiness. "Why would we have a night class on the first day?"

"It's actually optional to attend; however, those who don't attend would miss out on something special that only night students receive." Namine appeared beside Bayonetta, seemingly out of thin air. "It's known that those attending night classes tend to be more powerful than those who don't attend."

"But we wouldn't have to attend, right? Not unless we really have to." Ruby asked with a tired yawn, rubbing her eyes. "I'm still kind of exhausted from facing that weird guy; the speed of something? He had this creepy smile, which I broke his teeth for taunting me about something I forgot, but I know it's something bad." She sighed, recalling the intense encounter with Speed-o'-Sound Sonic.

"Are you sure it isn't from having intense sex with Jin here?" Bayonetta grinned down at Ruby, who didn't seem to care as she continued rubbing her eyes, clearly fatigued from her recent battle.

"How would you know that? Weren't you asleep?" I asked Bayonetta with a raised eyebrow.
