Adley looked at Cara in disbelief. "Cara, do you not trust me?"
"It's not that I don't trust you. It's because you've done this before. You've targeted Braylee previously." Cara was referring to the things she did last time.
Adley stomped her feet in anger. She was annoyed at Cara's distrust for her. "Yes, I admit that I didn't like her and targeted her back then. But I swear it wasn't me this time! If it were me, I would have stopped her from reviewing the security footage!"
Cara froze slightly when he heard this. Then, he lowered his eyes and went deep into thought.
Upon noticing this, Adley knew that Cara was swayed by her words. A smirk crept onto her face.
However, she adjusted her facial expressions quickly and held onto his arm. Swaying it from side to side, she looked up at him and said, "Cara, you've got to believe me. After you told me not to make Braylee's life difficult, I listened to you! I would never disobey your words."
