Talking with Mommy and Daddy

Jenni looked cheerful with Jaden in the kitchen making cold chocolate drinks for the three of them.

"Would Jaden bring a drink for Daddy?" asked Jenny.

Jaden gave Jenni a quick nod. Of course, Jaden will not refuse Jenni's request, besides he is happy if he is asked for help by his parents.

With his little feet and hands full of a glass of cold chocolate, he carried it carefully to the table where Daniel made it his temporary workplace while at the hotel.

"Daddy!" The little one shrieked while smiling at Daniel who was now starting to stare at him.

"Ah baby, did you bring me a drink?" Daniel asked his son.

Jaden nodded his head as he handed the glass he was holding to Daniel.

"Thanks baby for bringing me a drink, did you make it for me too?" Daniel asked between his small chuckles.

Jaden reflex shook his head and pointed at Jenni who was right behind him.

"That's a good collaboration."

A grin spread across Jaden's face. He was really happy to find his parents seemed to get along like that.

"Wait for me five more minutes... I'll finish everything and be able to play with you guys."

In unison, Jaden and Jenni nodded their heads.

Both seemed to agree with Daniel's words quickly.

Without waiting long, Daniel took a sip of his chocolate for a moment and immediately dissolved doing his work, while Jenni and Jaden just stared at Daniel for a moment to confirm what Daniel was doing.

"Mommy, was Daddy always busy?" asked Jaden, who had just discovered the other side of his father.

Jenni gave a nod of her head to Jaden, and she didn't forget to tell him about her experience where his father would keep working until he lost track of time and didn't even care about eating time, and because of that, he was often admitted to the hospital.

"I don't often Jen, but ... only occasionally, and damn Jack told you," said Daniel, who seemed to keep listening to the conversation that was going on between Jenni and Jaden.

Spontaneously both of them looked at Daniel because they did not predict that Daniel would eavesdrop like that.

"Dad, can you not eavesdrop? I'm sure what Mommy said is true."

Jaden, with all the words that made Daniel shut his mouth tightly, couldn't believe that his son would say such a thing.

"But Daddy's only telling the truth Baby."

"No defense Daddy ... almost five minutes Dad," Jaden whispered, who seemed like an adult, when in fact he was only 3 years old.

"All right... well, Daddy will continue my work."

"That's good, let's continue the story, Mommy."

Jenni really wanted to laugh at her son's words.

'Ah, you really are a genius baby, I didn't think you would interrupt your Daddy's words like that.'

It didn't take long for Jenni to finish the story that had been interrupted by Daniel.

"Didn't Mommy scold Daddy then?" Jaden asked innocently.

"Of course, even Mommy asked his secretary for help, later you can call him Uncle Jack, so you can tell me if your Daddy doesn't follow what I say."

Jaden nodded his head and gave a thumbs up to Jenni.

"Looks like next time Baby will have to tell your Daddy to pay attention to his health."

Jaden quickly nodded his head in agreement with Jenni's words.

'Woah ... why is my son now the same as Jenni? they seem to have good teamwork in cornering me.' Daniel's monologue clearly listens to what Jaden and Jenni have said.

Daniel, who was still focused on his work, couldn't help but interrupt like before because he already knew very well that Jaden will come back to support Jenni and corner her again. Oh come on, Daniel didn't want to make Jaden far away from him, for that as much as possible he tried to remain calm and unaffected by Jaden's words which he wanted to refute.

Shortly after he managed to send his documents to Jack, Daniel closed his laptop and walked closer to the two who were still in Daniel's room.

"Are you guys done gossiping about me?" softly Daniel who was a little sarcastic to Jaden and Jenni who still look cool talking, ignoring the presence of Daniel who was in the middle of them.

"Daddy, Mommy isn't lying if Daddy works hard because Daddy is an example for people in Daddy's office, because if Daddy is lazy they will be lazy, and Mommy said a lot of people depend on Daddy."

'Ah ... it seems that Jenni really taught him well.'

Daniel gave a nod of his head in response to Jaden because there was nothing wrong with the sentence Jaden asked Daniel.

"Then Jaden will forgive Daddy because Daddy is only doing Daddy's job, but I still don't like it if Daddy's work will make Daddy sick."

Jaden could see a smile on Daniel's face.

"Okay Daddy understand."

Jaden who felt happy immediately reached out his hand asking for a hug to Daniel.

Daniel who was quick to respond immediately hugged his son.

"Thank you baby for understanding your Daddy," Daniel said to his son lovingly.

Jenni, who saw it from a distance, could only smile at the behavior of the father and son, not only that, Daniel, who accidentally saw Jenni, immediately said thank you to Jenni, but of course only by moving his mouth without making a sound.

Responding to the movement of Daniel's mouth, Jenni replied by nodding her head.

"Are you doing what I tell you to do?"

"Of course sir, I did as you ordered, Mr. Daniel did not know if I was still here," said Jack to Carl who was in front of him.

Carl nodded his head and relaxed a bit in the hotel since he had just arrived there.

"Is there anything I need to buy or anything else I might need to prepare?" Jack asked Carl politely.

A shake of Carl's head gave Jack.

"I'm going to rest for an hour, and an hour from now you can wake me up and also call her so she can come to my room."

"You mean Miss Kylie and her husband?"

Carl gave Jack a nod of his head.

"They should have arrived three hours ago, I miss Lili too."

"Okay, Mr. Carl, I'll excuse myself first," said Jack before leaving Carl's room.

'Hope it goes according to plan.'
