Our Little Family

"Jen... why are you running so fast? I only bought a dress that matched when you were wearing it, so why are you mad at me?" Softly Daniel tried to catch up to Jenni, while Jaden was now busy following Daniel who had been holding his hand, or maybe Daniel was following Jaden's small footsteps.

"Mommy, Daddy!" shouted Jaden in the end who couldn't stand the attitude of his parents who currently looked like children playing, only the losers didn't want to be blamed.

Spontaneously both of them stopped their steps and turned their heads towards Jaden in unison.

"Can you guys not run around like that? I'm tired of following in the footsteps of Daddy and Mommy ignoring me, do you hate me?" Asked Jaden, who of course got the attention of Jenni and Daniel, not even just they were waiting for Jaden's words, but many people were also busy watching the interactions of the three, especially the faces of the three were still passing by on social media.

"What you said baby, how could we hate you, you are our baby so don't say that," said Daniel, who has now equated his position with his son's height.

Jaden was busy pursuing his lips with his eyes trying to keep the clear liquid from spilling out.

"Daddy isn't comforting me is you?" Jaden whispered while staring intently at Daniel, and at the end by looking at Jenni, who was now starting to walk towards him.

Jenni couldn't believe that her son would say something like that. She had almost forgotten that now she was not a teenage girl who was studying at her former university and was pursuing her bachelor's degree, but rather an artist who had a handsome and intelligent son.

"Baby, I'm sorry ... Mommy is at fault, can you forgive this Mommy?" Jenni asked as she stretched out her hand and matched her height with her son.

Jaden gave Jenni a soft nod of his head.

Before long, Jaden enthusiastically hugged his parents full of emotion.

"Ah, it turns out that family is very harmonious, the proof is that his son was able to mediate problems when he was young, I think his parents took very good care of him."

"I agree with you, it would be great to have a family like that."

Some faint voices heard some people talking about them.

This time it was Jenni who immediately took a stand, to set things straight.

First of all, Jenni stood up and looked at the people who were staring at her.

"Excuse me in advance, are we allowed to have privacy matters?"

Spontaneously several people nodded their heads slowly.

"Thank you for providing privacy for our little family."

After that, Daniel immediately carried Jaden, while Jenni took Daniel.

It's like the perfect family, isn't it?

'Ah, it's so nice for Jenni to say 'our little family doesn't that mean she's given me the green light and it's okay if I celebrate tonight right?' Daniel shouted a little cheering in his heart.

Along the way to the car that was previously parked near the boutique, Daniel couldn't hide his smile proudly. He was happy that Jenni finally mentioned it.

It sounds very simple, but according to Daniel, it was more than enough. There is nothing happier for Daniel than the girl accepting him back to be her life partner, or at least to be an important man in Jenni's life.

"What's wrong with you? Why did you seem to be raising the corners of your lips?" Jenni asked as she sat herself down on the seat next to the driver.

Daniel shrugged his shoulders slowly, reluctant to tell Jenni the feelings he had been feeling. He didn't want Jenni to retract the words that sounded sincere when she had spoken to people who seemed to know them.

"Dad, where are we going with the clothes you just bought?" Jaden asked, clearly breaking the slightly awkward atmosphere of Jenni's question which Daniel couldn't answer.

"Secret, it's just that I promised that I would take you guys, because there will be a kid almost your age, so you might be able to play with her."

Jenni, who previously seemed unenthusiastic about the conversation between Jaden and Daniel, finally listened and tried to guess who Daniel meant. Is it just an acquaintance of Daniel or vice versa who she knew in the past herself and Daniel.

"You're not going to tell us?" asked Jenni who could not contain her curiosity.

Unlike Jenni's prediction that Daniel would falter, the opposite happened. Daniel was firm in his stance and chose to keep his mouth tightly shut.

"Woah, I can't believe that you won't waver at all," said Jenni, who was already lazy to discuss with Daniel while throwing her body just like that on the bench she was sitting on.

Not much different from Jenni's behavior, his little son seems to copy and paste with his mother. Jaden was busy folding his arms across his chest, with his body slamming into his special chair.

Of course, a small chuckle came out of Daniel's lips when he saw Jenni and Jaden's reaction as if they were looking in the mirror, only with their miniature appearance.

"Daddy! / Niel!" shouted both of them at the same time when they heard laughter from Daniel's mouth, which they openly thought was making fun of the two of them.

"What's a problem my baby, and my Jenni?" asked Daniel jokingly.

"Why are you laughing at us? Do you think we are so funny that you can laugh so easily? Isn't there nothing to laugh at right now?" Jenni whispered, full of emotion.

"Calm down Jen, are you aware that your behavior is the same? And the funny thing is that our son does the same thing as sulky as you, only with a duplicate of my face," Daniel said explaining what was funny to him.

Jaden and Jenni spontaneously looked at each other, trying to see what Daniel had to say to both of them.

'Gosh, Daniel was right! no wonder he laughed at us!' Jenni's honest monologue was a little embarrassed by the previously overly emotional words to Daniel.

"I know you're currently embarrassed by me, but I don't think it's necessary, because I'm not trying to tease you or make fun of you, I like this little family," Daniel said sincerely.

Instantly, Jenny's face turned bright red.

'Gosh, how is this..'
