Spontaneously, Edward and Axelle stuttered hearing Daniel's words as well as Jaden's gaze which seemed to corner them both.

"Is there something wrong with uncle's face?" Asked Axelle who took the initiative to ask Jaden first.

The boy did not answer at all, but he was just busy pursing his lips. Oh, come on, the boy is still reluctant to open his mouth because he feels he has been lied to by his two uncles, even though he has believed all this time.

He still clearly remembers that he questioned the two of them, about whether one of his mother's best friends knew his biological father, and unexpectedly both agreed to answer that they didn't know.

Isn't it very clear that Edward and Axelle know Daniel?

Edward and Axelle looked at each other. They are both at a loss for words.

Honestly, they admitted that they had lied to Jaden before, but at that time it was Jenni who had not been able to accept Daniel's presence back in her life, so as friends they were willing to lie to Jaden so that the boy would not find out on his own without Jenni's knowledge.

"It's not their fault baby, it's Mommy's fault."

Jaden, who was initially still in his stance, slowly lowered his ego and looked at Jenni who was in front of him.

Jenni, who understood the gaze from her son, immediately told what the words she had just said to Jaden meant.

"Daddy and Mommy were separated, there must have been a reason, right? That's why uncle Edward and uncle Axelle who are Mommy's best friends decided to support Mommy who at that time had not accepted your Daddy's presence by Mommy's side, and for that reason, they ended up lying to you, did baby want to forgive Mommy because Mommy has separated you and Daddy?" Jenni asked the child.

It took Jaden some time to think things over calmly and clearly.

It wasn't long after the boy finished analyzing it, only then did Jaden give Jenni a soft nod of his head.

"I'm sorry, Mommy," Jaden whispered, who felt bad for his mother. He never felt the slightest bit of wanting to corner his mother at all, it was just that he was a little annoyed with his mother's two friends, and for that reason, he sulked like that.

"No, my baby is not wrong at all," Jenni said sincerely.

She realized that her former self was quite selfish, if only she suppressed her selfishness, she might indeed be happy with Daniel, and her son has no lack of happiness for his family at all.

Jaden couldn't say anything, other than looking at his mother intently while nodding his head.

"Can we continue to have breakfast together? and you two can sit together here," said Daniel in the end, not wanting to continue the conversation which he thought would not just end if it was continued further.

As if understanding Daniel's intentions, everyone finally obeyed Daniel's words, which was indeed the best path at this time.

Everyone suddenly calmed down, without uttering a single word.

'Looks like I shouldn't have started the conversation earlier.' The monologue of the boy who realized that he was guilty.

Every now and then he glanced at the adults around him.

Neither of them started their conversation, all they did was continue to eat breakfast that was in front of each of them.

Jaden, who realized the awkwardness between them, could only sigh softly. He tried very carefully not to make a sound so as not to make things worse.

When Axelle tidied up his food, he reflexively looked at Daniel probingly.

"Bro, have you called Michael before?" asked Axelle finally asking the person he thought was most likely.

Without evasion at all Daniel said that it was true that yesterday he had just had a long chat with his best friend.

"So, you also told Michael that I've known Jenni's whereabouts all along?" Axelle asked again to confirm first, even though he knew that Daniel's answer was very likely.

Again and again, Daniel confirmed it.

A sigh was heard from Axelle's lips.

"That's why," Axelle whispered softly, making Daniel himself even more confused by Axelle's words.

Did he do something wrong?

More or less the same thing as Daniel had in mind.

"What is it?" asked Daniel who wanted to know what really happened.

"He was just scolded by Mr. Michael," Edward said calmly without looking at Daniel or Axelle without the slightest sense of guilt.

Daniel's head reflex turned to Edward who was still busy chewing his food again.

"Is Michael really mad at you?" asked Daniel who was now starting to ask Axelle asking for an explanation.

Axelle seemed silent, and soon nodded his head.

Suddenly a chuckle came from Daniel's mouth.

He really felt tickled to hear the statement from Axelle where he was scolded by his own best friend.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know if he would scold you, because I thought it wouldn't be a problem if I told him, and now I just realized my mistake, I forgot Jenni was his adopted sister so he must be furious because he was alone who doesn't know about Jenni, and you as his brother know Jenni's whereabouts."

"Bingo! That's why he's angry."

"Funny, isn't it?" Edward whispered back, repeating his unexpected sentence.

"Hey!!" shouted Axelle who was not happy with his friend.

"Calm down Axelle, calm down I can hear your voice."

Axelle can only take a deep breath and exhale slowly, he really can't understand why his best friend didn't help him at all.
