Chapter 17

Yuta's eyes were dazzled by the light reflecting off the snow when he saw that all the children were already in class.

Sighing to himself, he complained that he was definitely allergic to light. The snow that covered the entire Konaha made it easier for the sun's rays to spread through the clouds. And whenever it was as bright as it was now, Yuta felt bad, as if all the energy had been sucked out of his body.

Moreover, this level of light was not only making him lazy but also, in his own words, stupid.

Yuta tried for a while to remember what he had done last time. He had gone out with Kakashi, Obito, and Rin to take some parody pictures of the day Rin had died, and after two pictures the system hadn't rewarded any pictures, and he had sat on the rock he was sitting on now because he felt tired.

Thinking about what happened next, Yuta couldn't remember anything and decided that he must have fallen asleep. Actually, he was right. He had fallen asleep, but it had only taken a few seconds. Yuta looked around and decided that this sleep must have lasted for hours.

With a deep sigh, Yuta decided that school might already be over and started to leave the schoolyard, but before he could take a few steps he felt someone grab the neck of his dress and lift him into the air.

Fortunately, before Yuta could suspect if the person behind him was an enemy, he heard the familiar voice of his bald teacher.

"You brat, you think you can do whatever you want just because you have Tsunade-sama behind you? If you continue to skip class this time, you will be kicked out of school."

Yuta only giggled a few times in response. He had already realized from the teacher's words that school was not over.

"What are you laughing at!"

"Kekeke 'Tsunade-sama'. If you are not afraid, why do you call her like that?"

The teacher blushed furiously at Yuta's words and spat all over the place as he shouted at him. "Cause of respect, you brat. I've had enough of you and you're coming to class with me now."

At this time, the most valued people in Konoha were the sannin. Their popularity even surpassed that of the Hokage. It could even be said that one of the reasons why the Hokage was still able to maintain his position despite all the wrong decisions was because he was Sannin's teacher.

When the teacher went back to look at the human-shaped gap in the snow, he saw that Yuta had fallen asleep lying in the middle of the snow. What really caught the teacher's attention were the frightening blindfolds under Yuta's eyes.

Looking at Yuta in his current state, one could easily guess that Yuta had not slept for days. The teacher took pity on Yuta and took him to the infirmary, then returned to his classroom. It was then that he remembered that Yuta had been in class in the morning, looking as sleepy and lazy as ever, but without his blindfolds.

The young teacher, known as Ibiki Morino, stood at the door of his classroom and looked at his fists. In fact, he knew countless ways to keep this brat awake, but his duty as a teacher would not allow him to do so.

After lying in a closed room for a while, Yuta woke up and remembered what had happened. After hesitating for a while whether to go home or not, he was picked up by the medical ninja working in the infirmary and sent to his classroom.

Standing at the door of the classroom, Yuta turned his head and looked at the woman in glasses standing at the other end of the hallway, watching him carefully. "Sighhh..."

When Yuta realized that he couldn't escape anymore, he reached out his hand to open the classroom door. Actually, Yuta had already decided not to skip class and become a model ninja.

As Yuta turned the doorknob and entered, the teacher interrupted his announcement, turned his head to look at the visitor, and then started the announcement all over again.

"Next week we will have an exam, and it is completely to test your fighting ability. Right now our village is on the verge of entering a new Shinobi war and with this exam we will select the most talented people in the school and try to train them specially."

Yuta smiled when he heard what the teacher had said and thought: the first butterfly effect is finally here, huh?
