Chapter 5 Kingdom Of Icefield part 1

After 3 hours of running to escape suddenly she stops and Cris starts crying.

[Sorry, I am sorry, I am sorry ,. If I had my old fighting strength , you wouldn't have lost your life .]

[How am I going to explain this to Lance]

Lance wakes up and sees his mother crying.

Chp-2 Kingdom of ICEFIELD

Lance and is mom are hiding in the city ragna in a back alley and Lance tells to his mom

- Mom , I think they're gone

But Cris couldn't stop crying even for a short while after she senses that Howard's aura disappearing, then lance hugs his mother and says

- Hey mom, Don't cry please

She replies with sadness

-I am sorry Lance for showing such pathetic side of your mother

Cris wiping off her tears looking at her feet

-How can I not cry , it's Howard he was my life it's like , I lost my other half , but I still don't understand why you are not showing any ounce of sadness

And Cris suddenly looks at Lance and how his eyes lost all emotions like he lost everything and then Cris

- Lance , please cry if you don't it will eat you inside and out ( Cris hugs him tightly) don't let anything left out

Then lance hides his face under Cris's chest cries non stop and let's out all his emotions. Then tells his mother Cris while tightly hugging her

-mom , please don't leave me alone, I already lost everything and can't lose you too

Cris pats his head , and tells him

- Don't worry ,Lance ; I might not be as strong as your dad but my aura and fighting skills are on par with an A - Rank inquisiter, (looks at Lance) you don't have to worry.

Lance looks at his mother with determination and requests his mother

- mom , plese train me

Cris suddenly rejects

-No , No way in hell

Lance looked at his mother surprisingly

Bu.. But , .. why

Cris suddenly with saddened expression

-It's like you said , ( puts her hands on lance's shoulder) I can't loose you too , I know that you're thinking of revenge but (looks at Lance seriously) Give up on that

Lance shouts angrily

- why... You know those inquisiter bastards first killed my brother and now dad , so how can I give up on that

Cris suddenly slaps Lance and tells him

- because....you are weak

Lance suddenly calms down and understands why Cris said that . Cris saws in his eyes that his eyes are determined for to kill someone

-mom.. if you don't I will go alone

and suddenly Lance emits a strong dark aura then Cris

*Chop

Knocks Lance out starts running with full speed , she notices that the inquisiter's didn't give up their chase so she starts running towards the outskirts of city and then runs at the direction of the demon spider mountain range and after 9 hours of running she was able to escape the radar of inquisiter.

Cris set up a camp at the entrance of the mountain range using wooden lumps and giant tree leaves, then set's up a bonfire

After an hour of rest Lance wakes up and Cris

- oh.. you woke up

Cris smacks on his head and tells

- you idiot, what were you thinking emitting such strong aura.

Lance suddenly realised and looks at his mother with a regrettable face

- sorry mom , when you said to give up on revenge and ...

Cris replies

- I said give up because you don't know why your dad's lost .....you don't right ...

Cris looking at Lance

- it's because before your dad's aura disappeared, I vaguely sensed a God's prsence. That makes sense why your dad had lost.

Lance shockingly asks Cris

- why would a god interfere with a human's conflict

Cris biting her finger

- I don't know

Cris looks at lance

- but it's just not any god but an evil god

Lance looks at Cris doubtfully

- aren't there just 2 types of gods , one is god that gives blessings and demon god's who give cursed..

- there are two but this god is an evolved form of an demon god which lived millions of years.

Cris looks at the bonfire

- even if all the inquisiter's in that forest attacked your father together with that bastard jin logon ... They wouldn't have had a chance

Cris looks at Lance and proudly says

-Because your father's title on the human continent is.....

And Cris suddenly starts looking at the night sky and the stars

" Human continent's Strongest "
