A howl came from the distance.

Alden looked in the direction from where the howl came.

With the last rays of daylight, he could see a large dust cloud coming their way.

As if encouraged by the howl that came, the wolves surrounding Alden, Owen, and Neo attacked.

They jumped at them.

Swoosh!

Neo swung his staff around, hitting the wolves. With spiritual energy channeled through his hands, when he hit the wolves, he either killed them or seriously injured them.

Owen, on the other hand, was not doing too well. He could barely deal with the ordinary wolves.

As for Alden, well, he was doing fine fending off the wolves, but his attention was not on the fight before him.

The dust cloud was rapidly approaching them.
