"Cough!" Alden coughed another mouthful of blood.
He glanced at where the Voltar was.
"That is..." Alden's eyes widened.
The wall the Voltar was glued to has disappeared. It was destroyed by the explosion.
"Save...me..."
A ghostly voice entered Alden's ears.
The hairs on Alden's body stood up.
Swoosh!
Despite his injuries, he jumped back.
A chill ran down his spine. 'What is this? Is this fear?'
Alden thought, unable to take his eyes off the scene before him.
The wall that stood previously was snow no more. There was now the entrance to another room.
'Could that wall have been there to hide this chamber? A secret chamber?' Alden thought.
The chamber was dimly lit. On the walls, two torches were burning in blue, ghostly flames. The torches looked old like they had burned there for hundreds of years.
