Kong Xiang sat cross legged in a meditative position. Spirit stones were arranged in a formation around him which he steadily drew from. The cycle went on for a while till the spirit qi in the stones got exhausted.

"Phew, that was quite a battle" He mused as he opened his eyes, his mind going back to the battle from two months ago. After the last move that he had made, the cultivators had quickly overpowered the demonic beasts, easily claiming victory. Needless to say, the battle was with high returns. The battlefield littered with the beasts corpses was quickly cleaned up, and the sects that arrived later did purchase them at exorbitant prices.

There was a bit of a problem here as some cultivators argued that they had killed more beasts and deserved a greater reward than most. Fortunately, the Grand Scheme Sect brought along a replica of their sect's heritage treasure, the Virtual Mirror, which scanned the battlefield and gave out rewards according to its deductions, quelling the incumbent storm.

Kong Xiang instantly became several times richer, given his consequential role in the battle. Some of the sects even tried to poach him in as a disciple, giving his performance. Unfortunately for them, he wasn't interested. Parting ways with Da Chen, Zhi Ran and Cao Tian, he continued on his journey.

The lad calmed his mind and unleashed Sango Form. Over the months, he had relied on it heavily to comprehend the law of lightning to the Mastery Level. Superimposing his bloodline ability and Sango Form, his Karma Law comprehension surprisingly had the greatest breakthrough, being just a threshold away from the Manifestation Level. As for the weapon law of Axe, and the law of Slaughter, he did not focus actively on them, feeling an innate absence of affinity, so they were only at the Insight Level. Now, activating Sango Form, he could boost the axe and slaughter laws to the Mastery Level, the Lightning law to Manifestation, but the Karma Law could not get boosted. He had no idea why.

His cultivation base also rose to the peak 6th level of Cyclic Core Realm. Having stabilized his Seal Domain, his greatest breakthrough was a fusion art he had managed to develop after countless experimentation.

His Seal Domain quietly materialized around him, locking qi flow within 330 metres as soon as it appeared. Hidden in the void were complex runes, fortified with sealing intent. This was a qi lock formation, a rather basic formation spell with ancient origin that he had purchased at a high price from an itinerant cultivator after that battle. He had felt an intense infinity for it when he observed it being cast that day,and he had been right. Relying on his Seal Law comprehension, he started from scratch and consolidated his Sealing Domain in no time, undergoing a tremendous qualitative improvement. With another thought, he withdrew the Seal Domain and the Nature Domain materialized instead, emancipating an aura of order and serenity. Deep within it, a virtual domain of lightning manifested, its destructive nature deeply restrained.

The Nature Domain, as Kong Xiang called it, was actually a high level domain birthed from the fusion of several elemental intents, elevating it to a higher level content. While his Domain before had form, but lacked much intent, he was pleasantly surprised to discover that with the addition of Lightning laws to it, it had quietly changed to become something more conceptual.

He had a suspicion that he was supposed to comprehend all the elemental laws of Wood, Fire, Earth, Wind and lightning individually to manifestation, before being able to bring forth the true nature of his Nature Domain. As he would have it, even lacking in these intents, the Nature Domain already served as yet another cheat code in comprehending them, although the process was a little less straightforward and would require enlightenment that could not be deliberately sought for.

"I should head back" The seven months were almost up, and it was time to head back to the sect to attend the Battle Royale. Kong Xiang was looking forward to battling those heroes.
