Chapter 1

Adolphus Lyall PoV

"Greetings, Your Highness 1st Prince." I take a glance at them and nod my head as a response. Many of our royal guards are busy doing their duty. Some of them help the maid to decorate the ballroom since it's the reception area for my birthday.

"This way, Your Highness," the butler said and lead the way for me. I'm heading to the living room since the designer of my clothes is waiting for me. The celebration will be happening a few days from now and we need to double our time in preparing the event.

"Greetings, Your Highness." The designer bent her knees and bow her head a little to me. She took her notebook and gave it to me. While I was searching for a design in her notebook, she introduces herself which I don't care about. I'm here to choose the design that I wanted not make friends.

"That design suits you, Your Highness." She walks closer to me and pointed her finger at the design that she was talking about. My eyes landed on the drawing and examine it. So it is a blue long sleeves polo and has a blazer that is color black on the outside and color dark blue on the inside. It has six buttons on the tummy and it has gold beads and designs on its collar.

It has another blazer which is now color dark blue and it has gold beads and gold linings. On its shoulder, it has gold epaulets. It also has a cape that's connected to the blazer and it has gold linings, gold beads, and diamonds creating a beautiful pattern. There's also a fur on the bottom that made me smile a little.

"I'll get this," I said and look at the designer. She looks older than me around 15 years if you look at her intently but I just shook my head since I have no interest in someone. What I'm only thinking for now is to practice becoming a King since any minute, the King will pass the throne to me and I don't want him to be disappointed especially if I'm not yet ready.

"Noted, Your Highness. If it's okay, can you please stand so that I can measure your body?" I nodded and stood up, letting her measure my body.

"How's the preparation, 1st Prince?" I look at the wolf who asked me and tilt my head. It's the 2nd Prince Amoux Fenrir and he's wearing a serious face which I don't like because I can feel that he will do something for me.

"Almost done. Stop being serious, 2nd Prince. I'm not in the mood," I said and turn my back at him but I heard him laugh that made me shook my head.

"So this is what adulating look like?" But I didn't answer him and went to the garden to look for our 1st Princess Calista Myrian. She's the 3rd child of our parents and she's just 15 years old. Cali looks like around my age, 25 years old but she isn't. She just look mature but in real life, she's still a kid.

I bow my head at her and she did the same. "It's nice seeing you here, Your Highness 1st Prince," she greets and takes her seat.

"You're alone, 1st Princess?" I ask and take the vacant seat in front of her. She took her tea cup and take a sip on it.

"Yes, Your Highness. The 2nd Princess is busy talking to her friends," she answered politely and took a piece of chocolate on the plate before she puts down her tea cup.

"Why don't you join to 2nd Princess?" I took a piece of candy and put it in my mouth. My face crumpled when I taste the candy. It's too sweet! I'll tell the cook later that they should lessen the sugar. It's not good for our health.

"It's all about the fiction book and I have no interest about that. I'd rather spent my time alone rather than talking to them." She even roll her eyes that made me shook my head and chuckle. The 1st Princess is like me and the 2nd Prince and 2nd Princess have the same attitude.

"Then what should we talk about?" I asked and rest my body on the backrest.

"I wanted to know about the mages and the Golden Realm." She fixes her hair and smiles a little at me. "But I know, it's a sensitive topic so it's okay if you don't want to tell it to me, Your Highness," she added. This Luna wolf is so smart. She's interested in the issues and I know, she'll become a great leader someday.

"Ask me a question," I commanded. I'm willing to give her a little information about our world and the other issues since she's not different from us and this is the right time to answer her questions since she's no longer a kid. She's now mature and I can't help but feel proud of my sister.

Her face lightened the moment she heard me say that. "Really? Thank you so much, Your Highness," she said but I just shook my head in disbelief.

"What are the mages look like?" she asked.

"They're also like us in our human form, 1st Princess but the difference is that they can't transform into a wolf but they have special powers that no one can beat them except the demon and the witches. You're familiar with those, right?" I asked which made her nod her head.

"They have unlimited powers?" she asked while her eyes twinkled. She's becoming childish now and I can't help but chuckle.

"The Royal Blood but if you're just a normal mage, it's limited." She nodded her head repeatedly.

"Do you have any other questions?" I asked which made her shake her head.

"Thank you for the information you have shared, Your Highness but for now, I need to digest everything first. If it's okay, can I ask you again next time?" I smiled at her and nodded my head.
