"Chloe's father is dead. He has been since two week ago."
Chairs soon popped out of the ground for the three women to sit around a table.
Regina continued. "At exactly fifteen days before now, a young man from Ogmore sent the Dean an audio message. He said he had recorded it when he noticed an unauthorised radio frequency in the Highlands. But since there was a barrier at that time, he couldn't understand why that frequency led him to a point in the middle of the ocean, so he reported it to the Castellan, seeing as the message seemed important.
She brought out a small round disk with a button at its center.
"This is the first message he had picked up."
As she tapped the button, a masculine voice escaped the disk.
