Prologue

Tony was running for his life.

His heart was pounding in his chest as he darted through the crowded streets of downtown Los Angeles. The sounds of gunfire and explosions echoed in his ears, and he could feel the heat of flames licking at his back.

He didn't know who was after him or why, but he knew he had to keep moving. He had a reputation for being one of the best hitmen in the city, and he knew that made him a target.

Tony ducked into an alley, trying to catch his breath. He leaned against the wall, his eyes darting back and forth as he scanned his surroundings. He couldn't see anyone chasing him, but he knew better than to let his guard down.

Just then, a shadowy figure appeared at the end of the alley. Tony tensed, ready to fight or flee if he had to. But as the figure got closer, he realized it was someone he knew.

"Tony, what the hell are you doing here?" the figure asked, revealing himself to be Tony's best friend and fellow hitman, Marcus.

"I could ask you the same thing," Tony replied, still catching his breath. "What's going on? Why is everyone after me?"

Marcus shook his head. "I don't know, man. All I know is that there's a big price on your head. The word on the street is that someone wants you dead, and they're willing to pay a fortune to make it happen."

Tony swore under his breath. He knew he couldn't stay in Los Angeles any longer. He needed to get out of town, fast.

But first, he had some unfinished business to attend to. There was only one person who could have put a hit out on him, and Tony was going to make sure they regretted it.

He looked at Marcus. "I need your help. We're going to find the person who wants me dead, and we're going to take them out."

Marcus nodded, a fierce look in his eyes. "You can count on me, Tony. Let's show these assholes who they're messing with."

Tony grinned. He knew he could count on Marcus. Together, they were unstoppable.

And so began Tony's quest for revenge, a journey that would take him to the darkest corners of the city and beyond. A journey that would test his skills as a hitman and his sense of humor as a wise-cracking anti-hero. A journey that would make him a legend known as the Crimson Mirror.
