Chapter 9: Into the Labyrinth

"As Creo and his friends were reaching the top of the mountains they could not help but feel a slight exhaustion after travelling for days." The Narrator said.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt to rest for a while but then again we're a tad bit close to the top of the mountain." Zion Kishima stated as he saw they were getting near.

"Plus we've made it this far so I guess we can still continue." Creo replied.

"All of them continued climbing and they eventually reached the top of the mountain." The Narrator said.

"Phew alright everyone now we can rest for the night." Zino stated.

"Fine by me, travelling makes quite  a toll in my body." The Bookkeeper said.

"Probably because you're a lazy ass." Zino chuckled before running off.

"Come back here Zino!" The Bookkeeper said angrily as he went to chase after Zino.

"Zion, Athena and Creo could not help but laugh at their hilarious antics." The Narrator said.

"All of them eventually decided to rest on the mountain for the night." The Narrator continued

"The next day arises and as they were wandering around the mountain, they eventually stumbled around a small opening that was actually a cave." The Narrator said in suspense.

"Ah it's the cave from the texts, legend has it, in that cave, that is where the crystal is stored." Zino said.

"Well what are we waiting for, let's get going then." Creo said happily.

"Good grief, you're so reckless." Athena said in dismay as she went to chase after Creo.

"The others decided to chase after them and as they wandered inside the cave it was filled with spectacles and glowing amethyst clusters and hanging lanterns." The Narrator said in describing the cave.

"This cave is very interesting, it's filled with lots of different things to make it feel distinct." The Bookkeeper stated.

"But as they delved deeper into the cave, they were confronted by two mysterious figures that went towards their direction." The Narrator said.

"Well well well, we got intruders here my dear big sister, what shall we do with them?" Aqua asked.

"What we always do to intruders, Aqua." Flaira replied as both of them walked towards Creo and Athena.

"Be prepared guys, these two guardians are on a whole nother level." Zino remarked as the two guardians  were getting closer.

"We'll give them the old labyrinth special." Flaira smirked.

"She proceeds to teleport Creo and his friends into random different points inside of a newly created labyrinth." The Narrator said.

"Good luck in trying to get out, if all of you manage to get out then we'll let you pass, but even if not a single one of you manages to accomplish the feat, then you'll forever become our prisoners." Flaira chuckled.

"Meanwhile Rook and the Pawn soldiers finished the repairs of their steampunk warship and we're able to locate it muh easier by using their travel method." The Narrator said.

"They landed on the top of the mountain and started to set foot." The Narrator said.

"Make sure to guard the area in case of any enemies, we will be right back." Rook ordered to one of his henchmen.

"Back to Creo and his group, they are all separate from one another and are in different locations of the labyrinth." The Narrator said.

"This is quite the challenge but hopefully I'm able to find the others." Creo said to himself as he navigated inside the labyrinth.

"But what Creo doesn't know is that the labyrinth is filled of surprises that await himz those surprises that could or may lead to the death of him." The Narrator said.

"As he navigated, he came across a challenge, as he was confronted by a female creature but based on the appearance, Creo knew, one wrong move and he's dead." The Narrator said.

"Creo starts running and the female creature chases after him flying and let out a wailing scream which affected Creo's ears, then some parts of the labyrinth started to crumble due to the frequency of the spirit's voice and Creo was about to be crushed by a pile of rubble but fate had other plans." The Narrator said.

"The one that arrived was Athena who froze the rubble from falling on top of him." The Narrator said.

"Need some help, my dear king?" Athena smirked as she went to approach towards him.

"This is why I can always count on you Athena. Let's kill this banshee" Creo smiled as he and Athena went to confront the banshee.

"Athena freezes the banshee and Creo uses his Warhammer and destroys the frozen banshee." The Narrator said.

"We make quite the duo, don't we?" Creo smiled as he looked at Athena.

"What would you do without me Creo?" Athena said sarcastically.

"Come let's go find the others and hopefully get out of this dastardly place." Athena said as she and Creo went looking for the others.

"Zion was having troubles himself as he was tasked in killing a dangerous harpy, the harpy was not an easy for as it used it's claws and scarred Zion's face." The Narrator said in shock.

"Damn, this creature is tough, it's stronger than I initially thought." Zion remarked.

"Zion decides to make the harpy chase after him before eventually jumping and getting on top of the harpy and slicing off the harpy's wings, then it's claws before finally beheading the harpy's head." The Narrator said.

"I want to get out of this damned place, this place is horrifying." Zion remarked after killing the harpy and holding it's head as a trophy.

"Zino was busy struggling against a giant ogre but he quickly took care of the situation by utilizing his magic upon the ogre." The Narrator said.

"This ogre is pathetic in my terms although nonetheless it serves very well as a physical opponent." Zino remarked.

"The Bookkeeper was also struggling as his opponent, the werewolf is quite a match considering it's been trying to injure him with his sharp claws." The Narrator said.

"Bloody hell, get your dirty claws off me." The Bookkeeper said as he casted a spell and used binding chains and uses the chains to rip off the werewolf's arms.

"He proceeds to use his book and called out a sword and beheads the werewolf." The Narrator said.

"All of them were looking for one another before eventually reaching the center of the labyrinth." The Narrator said.

"How's everyone going?" Creo and Athena asked.

"I got scarred by a harpy." Zino said.

"I got troubles in fighting a giant ogre." Zino remarked as he scoffed.

"I had troubles in trying to get the werewolf off my back." The Bookkeeper said as he fixed himself.

"Well I mean how worse could it even get." Creo said sarcastically.

"Then a loud noise was heard as a group of monsters were blocking the way to the exit." The Narrator said.

"You just had to say it, Creo." Athena said frustratingly.

"Sorry, I mean how was I suppose to know that was going to happen next." Creo replied as he brought out his Warhammer.

"Nonetheless, let's make our way out of here." Zion exclaimed.

"All of them charged at the group of monsters with Athena taking the lead as she proceeded to use her fire powers to burn some of them into ashes." The Narrator said in shock.

"Zion uses his sword and stabs the other monsters, Creo on the other hand utilizes the power of his Kontroligan Eyes and makes the monsters fight each other before eventually killing them with his warhammer." The Narrator continued.

"Zion and The Bookkeeper used their magic and crushed their bones and lots of blood splatter around the area." The Narrator said in a terrified state.

"That clears the rest of the monsters, let's get going to the exit of this place." The Bookkeeper said as he was getting exhausted.

"They all rushed to the exit and yet there was another obstacle in front of them." The Narrator said.

"Great, the trouble keeps on coming!" Athena shouted in frustration.

"In front of them was a giant minotaur holding a battle axe." The Narrator said.

"None shall pass!" The minotaur exclaimed.

"Guess we'll have to make our own way." Creo shouted as he charged towards the minotaur.

"No Creo, you idiot!" Athena said frustratingly as she chased after Creo.

"Creo decides to use his warhammer on the minotaur but the minotaur destroys his Warhammer and sends him knocking back on the ground." The Narrator said in shock.

"This ain't good, looks like we'll have to improvise." Zion Kishima stated.

"Zion charges towards the minotaur, using explosive paper bombs as a way for a distraction." The Narrator said.

"Now while it's distracted!" Zion exclaimed.

"Athena uses her ice powers and freezes the minotaur but it quickly broke free and swings it's axe but all of them dodge." The Narrator said.

"How strong can this thing get?" The Bookkeeper said, in curiosity.

"Creo slowly gets up and walks slowly towards the giant minotaur." The Narrator said.

"You minotaur are like a problem, you act strong, imposing and belittle us but if there's one thing about problems, there's always a way to counter them." Creo exclaimed to the minotaur.

"Creo uses his Kontroligan Eyes but as he uses it, his eyes slowly start begin to bleed." The Narrator said.

"The minotaur was affected by the powers of Creo's Kontroligan Eyes and there was nothing it could do." The Narrator said.

"Now step aside and kill yourself." Creo said to the minotaur.

"The minotaur moved aside and beheaded itself under the control of Creo's Kontroligan Eyes." The Narrator said.

"That worked." Creo said, as he reverts his eyes back to it's normal form, later starts to feel a little dizzy

"All of them went to help Creo and together, they exited the labyrinth." The Narrator said.

"Not bad adventurers, you've proven to be quite the challenge. You're only one step away from getting the Aethereal Dreamstone Crystal." Flaira and Aqua told to Creo and his friends.

"Creo could not help but smile as he realizes that they are getting one step closer to achieving the mythical crystal." The Narrator said.

"Meanwhile as Rook and his Pawn soldiers were navigating the cavez they have encountered quite the problem and nearly made it out alive but alas they are weak and unable to move." The Narrator said.

"Meaning that what awaits Creo is the sense of danger, the impending doom before reaching the prize." The Narrator said.
