"Last batch!" I shout to my boss as I started on the last batch of lemon cheesecake.

I worked from the time I got out of school until we closed at 9:30 pm here at Mimi's Cheesecake Factory and Bakery.  I had finished the last batch and went to put one up in one of our many display cases. The bell chimed as I closed the case door. Today was very busy and people kept coming and going. A lot of employees were working overtime just because we were paid extra money and they were doing nothing after their shift was over anyways.

It was close to closing time before the bell chimed again and one last person stepped inside. It begun to rain and they stood there looking at the displays as they took off their hood. I was at the counter, cleaning up from many people leaning on the damn thing. Most were guys trying to flirt with most of us until we had to finally put a 'No Flirting' sign up so that they didn't hold up the line that would form behind them. But anyway, after he decided, he walked up and placed his order after I asked what I could get him. I put the last chocolate cheesecake in the blue box and handed it to him.

"H-how much do I owe you?" he asked me.

"It will be $3.50, sir." I say.

He placed the box back on the counter so that he could pull out the money he needed to pay for the order. After pulling out a $10, he handed it to me. I popped open the door to the register and placed the money inside. I proceeded to hand him the change but he shook his head.

"Keep the change." he said without stuttering.

I nodded and placed the change into the Tip jar we had near the register. I then looked over at him before he disappeared through the door. After he was near the window, he turned and blew air, causing the window to fog up. He wrote a thank you and his name and left. I was dumbfounded but I just shrugged it off and finished my chores before locking up for the night. I had a feeling that Hoodie would be back before I left to go to Ohio with my friends Foxy and Kenni next month.
