October 31 Part3

The long-awaited night has arrived, and Alice is getting ready to come to Sea's house.

But Alice still seemed hesitant to take a step.

Time and again she straightened her clothes, and looked at her face in the mirror.

"What if Sea, really is a serial killer?" Alice monologues. She was still filled with suspicion and was afraid that Sea would hurt her, but Alice tried to convince herself that she would still come to seek answers to her suspicions all along.

"Ah, whatever happens, I have to keep coming! She's a murderer, or not! I still have to investigate!"

"If I don't come, then I will never know the real story!" Alice convinced herself, and now she started walking out of the house.

Before knocking on Sea's door, Alice took the time to inform Felix, via WhatsApp message.

[Felix, I'm already on the doorstep Sea house,] she wrote in the message.

After reading Alice's message, Felix immediately rushed to Alice's house.

Tok! Tok!

Alice knocked on Sea's house door.

Celek!

Sea opened the door with a warm smile.

"Hi, Alice! You came too!" she said with a happy expression.

"Hello, Sea, happy Halloween," Alice said.

"Happy Halloween too, Alice!" said Sea. The woman grabbed Alice's hand.

"Come with me! We've all been waiting for you!" said Sea.

When she entered Sea's house, Alice was amazed by the different atmosphere of the room.

The Halloween atmosphere was so thick, but strangely, Sea's house seemed deserted.

Sea said if Sea and the others had been waiting for Alice's arrival, which meant that Sea's mother-in-law and daughter, Clara, had arrived, but there was no one in this room.

And instead, statues are sitting on chairs.

Alice came closer and took a close look at the statues. She found it strange, and she hadn't realized that the statues were the dried corpses of the Sea collection.

Two dry corpses are sitting in the dining room, they are Mrs. Amelia Baker, and Mr. Bobby Baker, parents of Sea's husband Edward Baker.

"Sea, is this a statue?" Alice asked a little confused.

"... let's just eat, shall we?" said Sea, without answering Alice's question first.

Alice sat down at the dining table and was served a tempting dinner. But Alice did not want to rush to eat the food. Of course, she had to be wary and afraid if Sea put something in her food.

"Sea, where are your mother-in-law and daughter?" Alice asked.

"They're in the basement," Sea lied. Even though her father-in-law was at this dining table, and was sitting with her. While Clara was in the basement.

"Really? But why they are don't come to eat with us? You've been preparing this since morning, why do you only order me to eat alone?" Alice asked.

"Ah, that's... because you're so special, Alice," Sea replied stammering a little, it was obvious she was lying.

Alice touched the body, of Mrs. Amelia.

"Sea, where did you buy something like this?"

"I bought it at ... uh, why ask? You like it, don't you?" asked Sea, and again the woman shifted the conversation to another topic.

Alice grew suspicious, firstly she didn't see the presence of Sea's mother-in-law and daughter, and secondly, she didn't hear any sound from the basement, if it was true that they were having a party in that room, at least there would hear music or laughter from there, though only sound faint. But this is not at all, even the atmosphere is so quiet.

And what's even weirder, why there have to celebrate a party in the basement?

Why not just in the living room or other room? Even though the condition of the house has been decorated in such away.

Alice's suspicions were getting real, she really shouldn't eat any of this food. Especially when she glanced again at the object beside her, she felt that it was not just a statue, to be made into a Halloween decoration. But like a real human being preserved.

Alice immediately looked for a way not to eat any of the food that Sea had prepared.

"Sea, do you like coffee?" Alice asked.

Sea nodded her head, "Of course, I like strong black coffee with a touch of milk or cream on top," replied Sea.

"Sea, can I make one for you?" Alice asked.

"Oh of course!" replied Sea.

"Okay, I'll make a special one for you!" said Alice.

Sea was a little confused by Alice suddenly offering coffee to her. This was unusual, then Sea tried to invite Alice, to eat with her immediately.

"Alice, you better not make coffee now! Let's eat first!" said Sea.

"I'm still full, Sea. Besides, I'm used to drinking coffee before eating," said Alice. Even though she was just random talking.

"Really? Is there such a person? Can't eat before drinking coffee? Of course, coffee causes stomach problems, huh?" Sea asked.

"Ah, that's for other people, it's different for me. Well, you wait a moment, will you!" Alice rushed into the kitchen and made Sea coffee.

Alice secretly put a high dose of sleeping pills on Sea's coffee cup. After she finished she invited Sea to sit on the sofa while enjoying coffee.

'I'm sorry, Sea,' Alice said silently.

"Here's the coffee," said Alice.

"Wow, that looks delicious!" Praise Sea.

"Of course, making coffee is one of my undisputed skills!" Alice spoke rather arrogantly, to convince Sea to drink her brewed coffee.

And sure enough, without feeling suspicious, Sea immediately drank the coffee.

Alice also drank her coffee casually, so that Sea wouldn't get suspicious.

They also chatted as usual, until a few moments later Sea began to feel dizzy and her head felt heavy.

"Oh, why am I suddenly dizzy, huh?" said Sea while holding her forehead.

"Sea, are you okay?" asked Alice, feigning concern.

"Alice, you eat first, okay? I want to sleep for a while," said Sea.

"Ah, fine," Alice nodded her head.

And after that, she hurriedly left Sea who was already asleep on the sofa alone.

She returned to the dining room and examined the statue that was in the room.

Sea stroked her hair, some of which fell out.

Alice was shocked, and Alice was even more surprised when she saw the arrival of a little girl with a pale face.

Alice was finally able to get a close look, at the figure of a small child she had seen this morning earlier.

"Are your name is, Clara?" Alice asked.

And the girl nodded her head.
