Ch 24: Preparation For War
(Ron POV:)
After ordering the retreat of his remaining troops, Ron felt the weight of the day pressing on his shoulders. He wasn't physically exhausted, but mentally, the strain of leading such a big battle with his monsters, strategizing against enemy, and constant decision's making had taken its toll. His mind raced with plans, adjustment, and the inevitable showdown that would occur with the rival dungeon master. But for now, he needed a break.
With his mind out of the battle. He first take a shower and then fresh up. Clean and feeling slightly more rejuvenated, Ron dressed in his more comfortable robes and settled into his command chair. With a swipe of his hand, he brought up the status screen for his dungeon. His eyes widened, a small smile curling at the corner of his lips. Today's efforts, despite the ambush, had been fruitful.
