I lost I gave it my all and I still lost. I was sitting in my room loathing when my phone rang. I look at the caller ID to see Iris's name pop up. I faild her by not going to her father sooner. I also wasn't able to beat the bastard that put her in there in the first place. I didn't want to answer but I knew what she would do if I didn't. "Yes Iris what is it?" I tried sounding fine but she saw right threw me. "You and I both know why I called you." She had a razor edge to her voice. I have only heard her speak like this once before. That was to the Chef that hurt Arina. "You need to get the fuck up dust yourself off. Aldine's don't quit just because of a loss. You will take this learn from it and come back better." She was not letting this go. "Iris....I " I could bring myself to argue with her. She had a point not many have been able to beat her in a food war. She always took it with grace. I blush thinking of the smile she gives the person. The smile of recognition showing her opponent she sees them and is happy. "Iris I'm fine but you need to talk some sense into your Cousin. He challenged him and nobody has been able to make him see reason. I think he is doing it more for you than me. Iris he bet his love for cooking. He will not step into a professional kitchen again if he loses." I could tell she was going to do something rash because I heard her yelling for a nurse. "Iris don't do anything stupid please get better. I am heading home. I need to be around family right now but I will be back in a few weeks." I said making her sigh "You better Aldine." was all she said before hanging up. I wish I had the guts to tell her the truth.

I watched waiting for Soma to come out and face off against this bastard. I have confidence in him but something was off. I could feel this presence it felt similar to...it can't be she wouldn't.

Mimasaka pov

I was standing on the stage waiting for this punk,when I felt the feral presence. I slightly started to quiver because the person coming threw the tunnel was not that punk. It was Iris Sakamaki and she had murder in her eyes. She was only a few inches from me. "Where is the kid?" I asked only to be slapped. "Sorry there's been a change in plans." She said this girl she wasn't the same person, what happened to her. "I was challenged by him don't tell me he is to chicken shit to face me." The fire in her eyes made me freeze. "He didn't want me to face off against you. I just got out of the hospital after all. Subaru Mimasaka you were the one that put me there so you owe me this much." Her voice was so cold I felt like death was coming for me.
