“This might be a good time for you to call it a night,” Bryan ground out.

Ashley touched his lips to make sure he wasn’t bleeding—he wasn’t—before giving Bryan a slow smile. “Feel better?”

Yvonne rushed over to his side before Bryan responded, positioning her body between the two men.

“What the hell is going on?” she demanded, looking at Ashley.

“Bryan is just working on some anger issues,” Ashley said.

“If that were true, you wouldn’t be conscious right now.” His eyes flickered to Yvonne. “You can do a hell of a lot better than this piece of shit.”

Ashley nodded somberly. “You probably could.” He glanced at Bryan. “Too bad this stunning specimen of manhood is going all the way to Boston.”

“And yet, Jen hasn’t called you since that day,” Bryan said. “Maybe I’m not the only one she’s done with.”
