Chapter 63

“Now.” Sliding up his body, she took his mouth in a long, lingering kiss that threatened to overpower her resolve, her head spinning by the time she pulled away. “I have all night to eat you up.”

Ashley groaned good-naturedly before pushing himself out of bed. He walked across the room, not the least self-conscious about his nudity, and took an acoustic guitar out of the closet. He casually strummed the guitar a few times, frowned, and then fiddled with the knobs. When he finished making his adjustments, he looked up with a smile. “What do you want to hear?”

The instrument he held was different than the one she’d seen in his backseat, making her frown. “I thought you left your guitar in the car?”

Ashley gave her a lopsided grin. “I have more than one. Five, in fact.”
