“What…what are you going to do?” The breathy request hung between them, and he lifted his gaze to find her regarding him, large eyes dark and solemn. “I trust you, but it would be kind of nice to know what to expect.”
“No, it wouldn’t,” Ashley countered. “That would ruin the surprise.” The silk wrapped around her wrist, and he brought her other hand down.
Jenny didn’t say another word as he bound her slender wrists together, taking his time to loop the tie between them. She only watched. Waited. Breathed in shallow, inaudible gasps. Neither one of them looked away, not even when he was done.
