As soon as she parked and cut the engine, he was out of the car and reaching for her. He half-dragged her through the lot to the elevator, pushing her roughly against the back wall as soon as the doors closed behind them.

Her response was instantaneous. Slim arms lifted and looped behind his neck. Hips thrust forward to meet the hard press of his erection. Lips met and parted beneath his, hungry and maddening and as determined as he was. And then she groaned, pulled back to catch a single, ragged breath, and he met her eyes, black with desire.

“Kiss me like that again and I’ll be begging before we get out of this elevator,” she murmured.

Ashley moved away from her with some effort. “Save it for when you mean it.” The doors opened to his floor, and he led her down the hallway to the penthouse, his fingers loosely wrapped around hers. Unlocking the door, he ushered her in. “Make yourself at home.”
