Chapter 6

ANNA'S POV

It's Winter again, it's been two long years since we last heard of count making an appearance, only his descendants (Those turned by Count Dracula) that were causing mayhem all over Transylvania and Budapest.. Also we had begun to see a wave of Ogre attacks on humans more frequently, I had received my first Mission and it was in Transylvania. An Ogre has been causing nuisance and killing villagers, I and two Frairs were sent there to eliminate the threat, we left in a carriage provided by the knights of the holy order of Rome, we passed by Castle Dracula as it was the shortest route to the village, Electricity could be heard Humming inside the castle and I couldn't help but wonder what was going on inside, the exterior was empty as it's drawbridge was lifted preventing anyone or anything from crossing inside... I finally arrived in the village and we settled in, we'll hunt in the morning I said in a commanding tone as I went to sleep inside the house due to the cold weather outside, it was an old house but it met our needs as of the moment.

I woke up in the morning and had a shower, not long after bathing i heard a knock, I hurriedly got dressed and answered the door as one of my companions walked in and greeted me with news of another attack in the church and he said the Ogre was still there, I took my weapons and we got on three Transylvanian horses and set off for the church. We got there and saw the creature feasting on a priest, I sent four silver bayonets flying at him and they struck him, he roared in pain and charged at us, I maneuvered my horse out of its way but it got hold of one Frair and tore him to shreds, the other attacked him with a sword but he bit his head off.. He turned and charged at me again but this time I was prepared, I sucked and cut one arm off this hideous beast and he roared again and he threw me a punch which I was quick to block but the punch sent me flying into the church, I became weak and just as I prayed to God For help and closed my eyes hoping the creature doesn't find me, I could hear his footsteps as he roared and growled in pain, just then the villagers arrived with torches and pitchforks, they killed and burnt the creature, I was rescued by those i saved and was taken back to the house, I immediately wrote back to Rome telling them all that happened, then I fell asleep..

I woke up to loud noises coming from outside, I looked out from the window and saw the villagers outside in numbers and a beautiful teenage girl in the middle tied to a stake , the villagers were shouting "Burn her, burn the witch!!!" Just as I heard this I saw the sun go down and in broad daylight something big seemed to coming from afar in the sky, I heard a woman scream the word "VAMPIRE" As the villagers all ran for their lives, the got into their houses and shut the doors and windows leaving a few people outside running with fear, they were easy for the Vampire to pick, and from my study only Dracula had wings, his descendants did not...

As He drank from the third person I drew my silver sword and charged at him, he ducked with ease and focused on me, I ran for my life, He came flying after me, I ducked and he picked up another person and threw him far, no chance of survival for him. Dracula stopped flying and walked towards me, I couldn't help but notice how handsome he was, with those bright red eyes and just then I knocked myself back to my senses, I readied my sword and he smiled showing very sharp fangs, longer than those of a regular vampire, he indeed was the first I thought as I stood face to face with Death himself...

Dracula's POV

I awoke after two years of slumber and I was really very Thirsty, I flew out of my Castle in search of food, when I saw a crowd gather below me, I flew down to have my fill of blood when a really beautiful young lady came charging at me, "Is she crazy? Does she even know who I am, I got angry and as I tried to feed on her, she ran, I decided to face her without wings..

As I walked close to her in anger I could sense her fears but for the first time since I became a Nosferatu, I sensed fear mixed with Love, my eyes stopped glowing as I listened to her fast heartbeat, she was afraid, and so was the girl on the stake, I saw a ball of fire coming from the direction of the stake, It sent me crashing into a house as it caught fire, from the fire I could see the lady untying the witch that just toasted me from the stake, just then I walked out of the fire burnt beyond recognition but immediately I began to heal as both of them stared at me with eyes wide open in shock, I wasted no time, I used my speed to get close to the witch and knocked her out then took both her and the new girl to my castle through a dark portal..

I wanna know where they got their guts from.... If I had known I'd have taken only the witch because what happened next was not something I could have thought possible....
