Chapter 1: The Beginning

In the year 2023, a mysterious portal appeared in the sky; swarming out countless monsters, slaughtering humans like mere ants, just like God has abandoned us. At that time of chaos, humans with the blessing appear, given the ability to eliminate the monster. They are known as savior. They obtain the blessing by making contact with a formidable god, allowing them to borrow the power of god by their mental strength. Proven that god does not abandon them, humans begin to strike back.

3 years after the first portal, the world has returned to its normal state. The wind blows as normal, children play on the street, and birds fly freely in the sky. Saviors are also roaming around as there is nothing to worry about.

" Why are you not working? Uncle Jeff" the one who yells is young Drevin unsatisfied by action saviors.

" We're working, well sort of," Jeff replies to Drevin.

" How do you become a savior? what kind of god make contact with you?" young Drevin says.

" A god named 'Ariel'" Jeff replies with a mocking tone.

" Then tell me how to become a savior? so I can become a better savior than you" young Drevin says as he's pointing at Jeff

Jeff-" Even if you say so, I don't know how to answer that question. Didn't read the association forum"

Young Drevin- " Of course, I did; becoming a savior is my dream, it's make sense if I study all about savior. I just wanted to hear it from you who is experienced"

Jeff- " So you admit that I'm experienced"

Young Drevin- " It's not like that, just tell me" in an angry tone.

Jeff- " Well, to be honest; I don't know either. according to the association forum which is made by the Savior Association, it depends on your talent"

Young Drevin- "It's not like you have talent, Uncle Jeff"

Jeff- " I feel like an iron liquid poured into but yes, I don't have talent; and that's why I am telling you I don't know. it's not like we can predict the Gods"

Young Drevin- "Then how do you become a savior?"

Jeff- " Maybe, because of my desire? so many people died because of the war caused by the monsters when the first portal opened. We, humans, are lack of power. in that despair moment, the first savior appear; saying that he was blessed by god and killed the monsters."

Young Drevin- " That is the story everyone knows, why are telling me that?"

Jeff- "What I want to say is gods are unpredictable, and they see what we can't see; as if they are saying everyone has talent."

Young Drevin- "If that is the case, why there are people who aren't saviors"

Jeff- "Like I said, gods are unpredictable. Have a strong will, kid. you will know when the time comes"

The conversation between Jeff and Drevin has come to an end. " Useless old man, not enough information," Drevin says as he's thinking about the conversation that they just had. " I must become the savior, so I can kill that monster ' Zypogo'." Drevin thinks.

5 years have passed, and Drevin becomes 16 years old. and today is the day that he looking forward to. the day that he will know whether he has talent or not. and depending on the talent that he possesses god will have an interest in him. he is excited to know what kind of god he will make contact with.
