11. Kyle

The aftermath of the battle that occured in the forest soon became a hot topic as players who spawned in the area saw the scene and quickly ran to the empire.

Soon, cultivators from both sects arrived and took their students back to the empire.

Inside a beautiful garden filled with herbs and a pond in the middle, a boy sat in front of the pond in meditation position as he kept quiet.

The surroundings being quiet added to his focus and he was able to cultivate better.

In the quiet atmosphere of the garden, wind suddenly began to gather around the young man and leaves floated from the ground due to the wind.

He floated off of the ground as more leaves gathered around and her released himself from meditation position.

*BOOM!!*

A wave of qi bursted out of his body, blowing all the leaves away and stirring the water in the pool in front of him.

He opened his eyes as he floated back to the ground.

"Yay! Congrats!!"

A beautiful girl who also wore the robe of the moonlight sect's core disciples jumped and hugged Kyle from behind.

"Huh? How long have you been here?" Kyle asked in a low tone as he turned back to her.

"Oh... Since this morning. You've been cultivating for three days straight without food, you must be hungry." She said as she looked down at his lips and landed a peck on it.

"Huh? What was that for?" Kyle got confused.

"Oh, just a friendly gesture hehe. Okay I'll go get something, you stay here." Veronica said as she skipped away from the garden.

As she left, she held her chest as she felt her heart beating fantically.

'What did I just do?!! What did I just dooo?!!!' she screamed in her head and she felt her head hurt.

She didn't know what came over her. Kyle's handsome face was so close so she planted a kiss on his lips unknowingly out of emotion.

Her entire face turned red and she looked back in the garden to see Kyle taking off his uniform to sink in the pool.

His toned body and muscles were showing and all attributes to his handsomeness.

Her ears turned red and she closed her eyes as she imagined him as her man.

"Hey Veronica."

"AHHH!!" Veronica shouted as she heard a voice beside her and then she looked to see Trisha looking at her with a raised brow.

Trisha didn't let her long, brown wavy hair flow and used a hairband and to hold it behind, revealing her long ears, proof of her eleven race.

"What's wrong?" Trisha asked with a raised brow.

"You scared me." Veronica held her chest as her boobs heaved up and down.

Trisha looked within the garden to see Kyle there in the pool and her worried expression turned tranquil.

"I was wondering what you were doing at multiplied retention garden." Trisha said and Veronica furrowed her brows.

"Yeah, yeah. I was about to go and get something, wanna come?" Veronica asked and Trisha sighed as she knew that no wasn't an answer.

"Sure."

Both girls walked away and then they saw a man walk passed them and they greeted him.

"Elder Kom." They both bowed.

The man had short green hair and his ears were long and pointed, just like Trisha's. He nodded towards them as he walked passed.

He had the symbol of a full moon with four stars around it which could be connected with lines to form a square.

He walked into multiplied retention garden and saw Kyle resting in the pool and he suddenly stepped, leaving over fifteen after images as he appeared behind Kyle.

"I see you broke through to the Spirit king stage. And at the age of 19... I'm jealous." Elder Kom said with a chuckle and Kyle bowed.

"Elder Kom." Kyle bowed and then the elder nodded.

"You're a very talented young man, even without the support of any family, you managed to become the number two student in the sect." Elder Kom said but Kyle didn't seem to like what he said.

"Being number 2 student is still good. With my guidance, there's no way you'll not get to number one in no time." Elder Kom said and Kyle sighed tiredly as he nodded.

"Okay, now show me the Divine retribution art, you've been working on." Elder Kom said and then moved backwards.

"Yes, master Kom." Kyle bowed and then he opened his palm and the space warped before a long sword appeared above it which was in a sheath.

"Elder Kom!! Elder Kom!!"

Kyle was distracted with the sudden shouting and then he and elder Kom looked at the garden's entrance with a frown.

A student wearing a uniform with a crescent moon and one star arrived there. He wasn't wearing a robe as that was for inner and core disciples.

"What is it?" The elder asked as he walked towards the garden entrance.

"The students that were sent to watch over the area where the mystic item appeared are back from the forest." The student said and then Kom raised a brow.

"And what's the cause for panic?" He asked.

Kyle who was standing also walked over as he wanted to know what the strange item would be.

"All of them are injured and some have fatal injuries." The student said in worry and Elder Kom frowned.

"Take me to them." He said and the student quickly scurried away and the elder followed from behind.

Kyle dismissed the sword back into the storage ring on his finger and then he wore his robe before making his way to the area too.

The building where injured and sick disciples were taken was very packed today and most students were outside, waiting for news on what happened.

"I don't know what happened to them."

"There were twenty students, all at the Spirit master stage."

"Citan was also beaten, and he's a Spirit duke."

"Could it be a creature that appeared instead."

"Damn, I wouldn't want to face a creature that took out the entire team of spirit knights."

Chatter came from every direction and then the students began to keep quiet as they felt a heavy aura from behind and there they saw the elven sect elder and they made way for him to pass with Kyle and the student in front of them was fridgeting with shaking fingers.

"ARGHHH...!!!"

A loud voice resounded from within the sick bay and Kyle recognized the voice and he turned into a blur light as he zoomed into the building ahead of Elder Kom.
