Chunin Exams Part 1 (Super Fast Paced/Short)

Walking into the room for the first exam, Naruto sees everybody look over. Ignoring them he leans on the wall with his eyes closed. About five minutes later he hears footsteps walking towards him.

"Is that you Naruto?" Asked Shikamaru.

Opening his eyes Naruto looks up to see team ten.

"Yo, Shikamaru what up?" Naruto asked calmly.

"I'm fine, but your eyes what happen to them?" He asked even though he already guessed the sad truth.

"These eyes, they are the eyes that remind me of the failure I was. These eyes were a gift from Sasuke, they are the power he gave me to complete his ambition for him." Naruto said solemnly.

"I see, sorry for asking." Said Shikamaru going back to his lazy look.

"What exactly happened to Sasuke?" Asked Ino in sadness.

"We were trapped inside of a dome of ice, being assaulted by ice needless. I was useless in that situation; Sasuke was bearing off a little better after unlocking his sharingan. The enemy noticed this and attacked me full on, that's when Sasuke jumped in front of the attack before I can even think. Confused I asked him why, but he just gave me his eyes asking me to complete his ambition." Naruto explained sadly.

"Naruto-Kun." I hear a sad low whisper.

'Hinata' I thought.

"Oh, thanks for telling the truth." Ino said wiping her tears.

Before anyone else can say anything else Ibiki appears. With his entry everyone quiets down.

"It's time to begin, I'm Ibiki Morino your proctor. From now on your worst enemy now get seated." Said Ibiki with a sadistic grin.

After his words everyone takes a seat.

"Now, I will hand out a written test with nine question and the tenth question will be asked after time is up. You will be given 20 minutes to answer the nine question. You will be deducted a point everytime..." He said.

Naruto knowing the rules tuned him out and looked at the paper. Seeing that he said begin Naruto fills out the answer with the knowledge he got from his clones going to the library the last six weeks. Flipping over the paper he look up at the proctor and mouths "Too easy".

'That brat, it looks like the rumors are true his eyes have become the sharingan. He has become like Kakashi.'

TIMESKIP (FOREST OF DEATH)

'It seems Orochimaru canceled the plans as the sand and sound team isn't here. This changes so much of the leaf's situation.' I thought with a sigh.

[A/N: I'm rushing to Shippuden, as Sasuke death only leaves the chunin exams and Tsunade retrieval mission as important events.]

With the Earth scroll in his ninja pouch he heads off into the forest taking on any enemies that get in the way. After about three hours he finds the heaven scroll and heads to the tower.

TIMESKIP SEVEN DAYS LATER

'It seems, that without the sand and sound people participating, there are only Teams 8,9 and 10 plus me left.

"I was planning to give a speech about joint chunin exams, but it seems that there are only Konoha ninjas that have advanced. We will begin the final stage of the exams after one month. The first matches will be Ino vs Hinata, Neji vs Choji, Lee vs Kiba, Tenten vs Shino, and Naruto vs Shikamaru." Said Hiruzen before walking off.
