Queen Zyne felt that if someone would have told her about this side of Ceri Binner, she would not have believed a word that they said. However, she was getting to experience it firsthand and was astounded. Queen Zyne could not hide her surprise and the disappointment she felt in Ceri but then again, she noticed that Ceri had an unconcerned look on her face and it surprised the queen the more.
"Nothing is wrong with my mind, My Queen", Ceri Binner said. "Have you not heard about ambitions?"
Queen Zyne gaped at the young lady. She had to consciously keep her mouth closed otherwise her jaw would have fallen and her mouth would be wide open. She was surprised and she almost could not believe her eyes and her ears.
"You should not threaten your queen, Ceri", Queen Zyne managed to say.
Ceri Binner smiled. It was her usual pretty smile that would light up a room of gloomy people. A smile that would make a sad person want to smile. A contagious smile.
