"What if my half-brother knew all this while and kept it from me?", he sniffed. Seth's back still facing the wizard. His eyes were wet with tears that annoyed him the more.
"What if Sek's mother was the one who murdered my mother?", Seth continued. "I know what I will do to the person that killed my mother... but what if that person was connected to my dear brother?"
Ling was downcast. He had never felt such confusion before. The wizard was totally at a loss on what to reply to the prince.
Seth's mind was a mess. So many questions going through his mind. All this while, he hadn't really thought of the King and his possible connection to the matter. He hadn't thought about it at all.
"Definitely, Sek isn't that kind of person, Ling. Or is he?", Seth asked as he turned around to face the wizard.
That was when Ling saw that the prince was weeping.
