New trainer

Black Canary pov :

I came back from a mission and the first thing i got is another babysitting job. No time to rest. I guess this is a superheroes job.

I never really thought about my life. Always just living it without worry. My life was tough at first. I was alone living in the streets and afraid of my powers. But slowly i fought my way and found myself in this hero business. And it is fun.

I also like to help the kids who are like me afraid of their powers. That's the reason i accepted teaching them at the first place. But god they are annoying.

And especially that Flash kid i mean Kid flash. He always starts to flirt with me. He is way to young to do that. And also he is not my type.

Speaking of flirting there is another one Oliver Queen aka Green arrow. But at least he got a wife now. So that is a plus point.

But i sometimes wondered if we could be a thing. But past is past, now he is a good friend though. Still i feel a little jealous.

I also think having a family was never my thing to begin with. Okay enough of my life now i have to teach another kid. I hope he's not a flirt like the other one. He does have a pretty face. Maybe i will tease him a bit. But i can feel he is strong.

I mean fighting against Hawkgirl is no joke. She is one aggressive animal when she fights. But i am no small bird too.

Let's see he is coming. His guard is wide open and he isn't aware of his surroundings. Hmm let's teach him his first lesson.

I quickly throw a punch at him. What the hell, i clearly saw him eyeing my punch but he isn't moving or dodging. Shit i have to stop.

Phew, that was good boy. He actually managed to fool me. His aura and calm demeanour is just a ruse to hide a hidden monster. It will be fun.

He finished his talk with Red tornado. And i got to say he is pretty smart and mature for his age. And i do know about his story.

Being the last survivor of his entire race is really hard. But everyone has their problems. It's not like i don't feel anything. It's just someone has to teach them reality.

I learned the hard way but i must teach these kids to be better.

Now let's start his training. We went to the arena. Let's gauge his skills. " Okay there kid, last time it was just to teach you about your surroundings. But now it's real so don't think i will stop my attack now. "

I hope he is not arrogant like the other one's. They are the hardest to deal with.

He replied to me in a very polite, calm and respectful tone which actually surprised me " Okay my beautiful teacher. But if i want to fight you shouldn't i know you first. So hello my name is Adrian Ragner. And it will be my honour to get taught by such thoughtful and powerful teacher. "

" Ohh, I am Black Canary. But my name is Dinah drake. You can call me whatever you want. " i told him and he began to think a little for some reason.

Then he said with a smile " What a beautiful name for a beautiful maiden. But since you are teaching i will not be informal. I am in your care teacher."

He really is charming and polite. It actually is refreshing teaching this thoughtful kid. He is openly flirting with me but unlike others i really like his calm and respectful tone.

" But before we started our spar i want to tell you something about my powers. " he tells me.

Hmm interesting so he isn't a hot headed like others. And he really wants to learn from me. Good knowing his powers will help me teach him better.

" Okay go on "

" Yes but i do need someone as Red tornado is not organic. So i need your help. Can you please come over here."

I was interested so i walked over.

Then he said " Okay i have different energy control techniques but i won't tell you all of them. But for my close combat i mainly use ki and telekinesis. "

So he starts to tell me about his telekinetic powers and it was interesting. I have seen people using telekinesis but his way using is way different.

He can make an armour out it, add to his defence, pull people towards him and push them with it. It really is very versatile.

Then he tries gather some sort of energy. And it was very powerful yet very calm. It was really interesting. He calls it Ki.

He can do a lot of things using it. It can boost, create weapons and add to defence. " Okay now this the reason i called you here. Do you have any injury or any type of fatigue? " he suddenly asks me.

Hmm i don't really have an injury but i am very stiff and my body hurts from working nonstop so i told him " I don't have any injury but i am feeling a bit tired and my body aches a little. "

He says with a smile " Okay i am going to use my ki on you so don't resist just let me help you. "

At first i didn't mind but when he went behind my back and put his hands on my shoulders, some warm energy started to flow throughout my body.

I started to feel good way too good. He slowly moved his hands from my shoulders down my hand reaching the end of my fingers.

It actually sends a shiver down my spine. Then he moved his hands to my head over my eyes and massaged there and felt all of my tension got released. After a while he stopped but i really wanted him to continue.

" Okay i think that's enough. I can also use it to relief stress and remove any poison or foreign energy from the body. "

" That felt way too good. Can you teach me it? " i asked him.

" I can but there is a process to do it and i can't do it now maybe later. "

" Okay fine but you need to do this to me everyday. You i am your teacher so you have to listen to me."

Red tornado just sighed again watching this woman's nonsense. " Okay, I will do it but now should we continue our spar. " he asked me.

" Of course but don't use your powers just use your physical body. I will need to teach you skills first. "

He nodded and we started his spar. He was pretty good even better than some other kids at his age but i am more experienced so he wasn't my match.

But he really surprised me, every time he made any mistakes he would not make them again. His learning speed was very good.

And i was really looking forward to the next few days.
