Walking down the city they heard people talking.

"Did you hear? The hero is an angel!"

"They say he was summoned by sacrificing The old church!!"

"No, I heard that he was a human, the sacrifice drew a devil instead! The one called Wind Devil!"

"What are you saying? Alice-sama the dragon princess was there, I bet that golden dragon interfered!!!"

The rumors about the fight just kept escalating to the moon, some even stated that all was true and the fight was ended with a combined force of the angel and the devil!

As they walked Connor wandered, why they aren't recognizing them? A lot of soldiers have seen his face so they should at least know him, right?

Ariel answered at the spot.

For Chris, his appearance was short, add the fact that he was a devil so a lot of people didn't stop to look at him but ran instead! Right now he is hiding his Devil tattoos with magic so he probably won't be discovered!

Kinryuu on the other hand, people might not even know he can transform into an old man! People right now probably are thinking of you as a family! Kinryuu is the grandfather, you the father, and Chirs is your son!}

The city was bustling, the streets filled to the brim! A post-war? It seemed more like a festival, they are happy with their victory!

Vanessa and the guards did attract a lot of attention, a demon alongside the lord guards, people started at them.

"We should hurry, am getting a bit uncomfortable being stared at!" Vanessa said.

I'm used to it though! Chris shouldn't have a problem being the center of attention. Kinryuu on the other hand doesn't seem to give a sh*t, he instead is grinning!

"You seem to like it!" Connor said to Kinryuu.

"HaHa!" He laughed.

"We gold must shine as the metal we were named after! Worth, Glory, Radiance, beauty, Pride! It runs in our veins!" Kinryuu replied proudly!

"That just how golden dragons are! He forgot to mention the weird obsessing with collecting gold and rare magic Items!" Chris add.

Hahaha! Connor laughed for a moment!

"Imagin him dancing on a pile of gold in the middle of the city! That would be hilarious!"

Chris wore a complicated face before speaking up.

"He did it before in the Elvish Capital!"

"Wait for real?"

"Long story short, they called him poor so he did that to flex on them!"

Chris started telling the story.

Kinryuu headed to the elvish capital to strike a deal, he wanted to secure a trade route between them and the dwarves! The Elves accepted as they saw an opportunity to solve their lack of ores and metals by importing them from the dwarves mountain range, The dwarves also saw a fast way to secure food from the elvish sacred forest! Kinryuu and the golden dragons are going to protect the road for a fee!

At the negotiation, kinryuu asked for a high price to protect the road! Then one of the ministers protested saying that the price is too high he then called Kinryuu a poor dragon. It went like.

It's too high! Are you that poor to ask for such a price!

Kinryuu was enraged so he decided to show the Golden dragon King wealth! As calling him poor was an insult to all golden dragons!

He instantly disappeared from the meeting table, the elvish king was terrified and ordered the minister to prepare himself to be a sacrifice. He was ready to execute the fool on the spot! The moment he drew his sword they heard a rumbling in the air, followed by a booming lightning thunder.

The earth started to shake as they heard the enraged dragons chanting.

The king hurried to the nearest window to witness the despair laying outside.

Countless golden dragons have surrounded the capital as if they were a swarm of flies. The wind generated by them flapping their wings was enough to create a storm, shaking the trees and rimming apart anything that isn't tied down.

Some of them landed and started stomping the ground, causing it to shake like an earthquake.

They started to chant simultaneously.

"He who shines in the night!"

The sky was clouded in the blink of an eye, lightning raged.

"A golden start of pride, descending from the night sky!"

The titanic body of a golden dragon started to emerge from the clouds, his body crackling with lightning!

"Raimei No Ou! Raimei No Ou! Raimei No Ou! Raimei No Ou! Raimei No Ou! Raimei No Ou! Raimei No Ou! Raimei No Ou! Raimei No Ou! Raimei No Ou! Raimei No Ou!" Thet kept repeating as he decended.

Kinryuu has brought the entire forces of the golden dragons into the elvish capital.

The earth cracked the moment he landed from just his weight, The castle walls cracked from the impact.

Spreading his wings Kiryuu roared!

"Let the gates open, Rain down!"

Ding... an elf heard the sound of metal hitting the ground.

Ding, ding! It was the sound of coins falling.

The elves watched in terror as it rained gold and gems, Kinryuu started dumping his treasury on the elvish capital!

"Run!! get inside your houses!" Someelevn warrior yelled at the citizens.

Golden cups and tableware, weapons, armors, status, and even works of art! they all are falling from the sky. If someone were to be hit with something heavy it might kill them!

The massive body of kinryuu disappeared suddenly and the gate was incinerated with lightning. From it, an old man entered dancing, marching toward the castle he was accompanied by dozens of armed soldiers, for the observer it was clear that the soldiers are dragons from the horns and scales on their faces.

No one dared to approach the marching dragons, They were just that intense!

"This seems fun, can I join?" The dragons heard the voice of a little girl in between them. they jumped in surprise, who dare to interrupt the Thunder lord march! They unsheathed their weapons.

Puff, The weapons disappeared in black smoke, no they were burned.

They saw it, a little girl with red hair was standing in between them looking directly at kinryuu with sparkling eyes.

"Ah, Inferno! What brought you here?"

As they heard the name Inferno the dragons backed down.

"Grandpa Kinryuu, can I join you in the fun?" Inferno asked with sparkling eyes.

"Hmph! Grandpa? What are you talking about you old hag! You can very well be my great-grandmother!" Kinryuu stated.

"You know I have to stay in this form, don't be mean! You're breaking this lady's heart!"

"I thought you lost your emotions long ago!"

"That doesn't matter, won't it be okay for me to join?"

"I guess, do what you like! It's not like I can stop you!"

"Carry me, Carry me!" Inferno pleaded as she jumped like a kid.

"You're creeping me!" Kinryuu stated.

"Carry me!"

"Okay, Okay!" Kinryuu carried her on his shoulder and continued dancing toward the castle with inferno clapping.

before they could even reach the gates, the capital was already flooded with gold and gems to the point walking was almost impossible! The dragons had to clear a path for kinryuu.

Uninterrupted they entered the castle courtyard, a kid was stuck under a bench where he was taking cover from the golden rain. Crying, he was asking for help.

Puff, Inferno disappeared from atop Kinryuu and appeared in front of the bench.

"You're interesting! A magicless High elf but with high mana concentration!" Inferno stated.

The kid kept crying so she incinerated the gold blocking him underneath the bench.

She dragged him out from his shirt.

"Stop crying you brat! Listen when someone is speaking to you!" yelling at him.

The kid looked at her, she was shorter than him with an even weaker build yet she dragged him out as if it was nothing.

Kinryuu stopped to watch.

"Strange, she never shows interest in weak people but... I see that kid has potential!" Kinryuu grinned.

She suddenly swung her hand at him with considerable speed, she used a strength equal to an adult humanoid. The kid masterfully dodged and countered with a straight kick to the face.

Kinryuu stopped them right away.

"This is enough! Kid where are your parents? What do they do?" Kinryuu asked.

The kid hesitated for a moment before answering, mostly from the sheer intimidation of armed soldiers behind kinryuu.

"My father should be in the greenhouse as he is a gardener while my mom is a maid at the palace!" The kid answered in fear.

Kinryuu signaled to two of the soldier to go with the kid and bring his parents to the throne room. Inferno also went with them.

Connor stopped Chris and asked.

"And where were you when all these ridiculous things were happening?"

"At the meeting room sipping tea, The elves are experts at making it!"

"Typical Chris, not giving a sh*t about the chaos around him!" Connor said with a slight giggle.

Kinryuu kicked the meeting room door open, The king was awaiting him with a sword in hand. The minister who insulted Kinryuu was already tied down.

"You can take this fool life!" The king stated pointing the sword at the minister's neck.

"Insulting me is the same as insulting the entire golden dragons, I won't step as low as to ask for your life as compensation, cause I have more than what your life is worth!"

Kinryuu refused to take the minister's life, cause it was worthless to him. The moment he heard that the minister felt relief.

"I wouldn't mind doing it though!" Inferno appeared between the minister and Kinryuu.

"Who are..." Before he could finish, she smashed his head in her palm. The next moment his corpse was incinerated without a trace.

Kinryuu didn't speak up, neither did the king.

"That's kinda cruel don't you think?" The wind devil, Chris said to her.

"Ah! New blood? You seem to have more courage than everyone else, or is it ignorance?" Inferno replied with a different voice, it was a bit deeper as if it belonged to an elderly woman.

"Wasn't it better to let him live?" Chris asked.

"That's right, killing him is the wrong decision and that's why I did it! To see how everyone will react, are you going to try and stop me? Would something interesting happen!?!?!?" Inferno stated.

"Let's head to the throne room, I have an important announcement for you all!" Inferno stated.

Chris stopped as they reached the barracks.

"Hey, finish what happened next!" Connor said to Chris.

"You have to wait to another time, we reached our destination"

Inside the barracks, Alen was training alone, swinging his sword.

Connor was getting nervous, his hands started to sweat.

"Hello, my name is Connor, and I am a youtu... I mean a hero!"

"I heard about you from my daughter, you're going to marry her aren't you!"

For a moment, Connor felt as if he heard boss music!

Alen lunged at Connor with full power. [Cresent Moon]

Connor dodged easily by jumping to the side.

"What if you hit the others..." Connor realized that he was the only one there! Kinryuu, Chris, Vanessa, and the guards have all escaped.

"They ran off!" Connor yelled.

Alen wasn't about to stop.

Alen slashed left and right, Connor kept dodging with ease.

Connor disappeared from Alen's sight and appeared behind him, swinging his open hand down as a sword.

Alen turned quickly and slashed at Connor's hand. Just before the contact, Connor teleported again in another direction, throwing another hit. Alen was fought off guard, he backed down but Connor kept attacking.

Teleporting around Alen at a crazy speed, left, right, above, below, from an angle. Connor never stopped throwing the faints at Alen.

Getting annoyed Alen burst into flames trying to force Connor away. The moment Connor saw the flames he reacted by letting Ariel handle it.

[Water Magic: Water mist] she used water vapor to counter the flames allowing Connor to stay unharmed.

Appearing in front of the surprised Alen Connor pushed him backward with a single palm strike to the torso.

Alen didn't fall, he kept his stance.

"Don't come at me half-heartedly, use your full might!" Alen shouted, his loud voice seeming to almost shake the entire barracks.

"Then please allow me to end the fight, don't blame me after this!" Connor stated.

"That's more like..." Alen fell unconscious at the spot.

Sigh, Connor wore a tired look on his face as the soldiers screamed.

"Lord Alen!!"

"He is just unconscious, he will wake up soon!"

As Connor said that, Alen opened his eyes.

"What happened?"

"Knocked you out, sorry I didn't give you a chance to resist!" Connor stated.

With the help of Ariel, Connor deprived Alen of Oxigine using Wind magic and then forcibly shook his mana with [Pure Magic] causing him to instantly lose consciousness. It was an overpowered Combo that can almost take anyone out if they aren't strong enough to resist Connor Magic.

Connor helped Alen stand up, still nervous.

"Did I pass?" Connor asked fearfully.

"Yes, as expected of the hero I am no match for you!" Alen stated.

"Not at All, you're also very strong, to the point it was hard to find an opening to attack you from!"

"Well even with this, sadly we can't go with the marriage!" Alen said out of nowhere.

"Wait, what? You said that I passed!?"

"The problem isn't in you, but in the wives' order!"

"What do you mean?"

Alen explained, Lydia is Connor's first wife so her marriage should be held first then Alice's, and lastly Alva's! As Alice stated to him before, Lydia is still alive and the hero promised to revive her which means that she has to wait until that!

Connor imagined it as a quest line, Marry the first wife to get the second. Following his line of thought, Ariel registered it as a quest for him.

"He is right, tell us the full story!" Connor said. Both of them were dead serious.

" The marriage proposal was okay, but this weak a letter from him came! It said that he will accept Alice as a wife in exchange for supplies and money to help us in the post-war time! I also got word that he contacted the siblings of Bluemill and asked them to not send us relief forces!"

"That will never work!" Connor said.

"A futile endeavor!" Kinryuu stated.

"It will be okay if that was it, today a messenger of his came by! He said to give him Alice or he will march his troops in and take her!"

Two veins popped in Kinryuu's head.

"This ignorant bastard, marching his troop in? Very well, I will also call mine!"

"Where does he live again?" Connor asked with a smile. Chris could smell that he is about to go and break something.

"You two stop, this doesn't matter doesn't need you two to go this far!" Chris tried to stop them.

"Three bags of elvish tea!" Kinryuu said.

"I'm in, when do we start beating him up!" Chris instantly changed his mind
