COLLEGE

Things go wrong after Jerry hooks up with a stranger at an all freshers party. * * * Bro, you gotta see the way your eyes were on her." He laughed, but less loudly this time." I won't lie, I've done it before, every guy does, she's beautiful, you gotta give it to her." "Well she's cute." She is! "She's beautiful, you know it, that's why you had a one night stand with her." I almost choked on my burger. I had to take a drink before I talked again. "What the hell man?!" I whispered loudly. "What?" "Why did you have to say that out loud like that?" "Oh. Chill, these people are too busy enjoying their burgers to listen to our Convo." He said really chilling about it. I remembered the main thing I was worrying about when I saw her earlier this morning. I didn't use a condom when we were grinding our bodies against each other that night! 'What was I thinking?!' That's what I would ask myself if I didn't have a chance to use one because I did. When I was carrying her, her legs wrapped around my waist tightly, into the room, through rough kisses, I had stopped our liplock, and had told her I didn't have a condom. She said she had some; both male's and female's actually but she didn't want us to interrupt what we were having at that particular moment. I would ask why she had both male and female condoms but she was right, it was too hot, too pleasurable, a moment to interrupt. "I can just take a pill after." She had said.

Fifteen:

Three hours later.

She had called to let me know, it was positive like I expected. I didn't see the need to go to the hospital for another test, I had thought about it after Ann hung up, before going back to sleep and I honestly don't know what her roommate was expecting to happen; that it would come out negative?

I am not a pessimist but sometimes one has to accept what situation they are in, some things didn't have a quick solution or comfort relief.

I hadn't eaten anything since morning, I was hungry but there was no appetite and besides I didn't feel like going outside this room today. Ordering was not an option too because then I would have to stand from my bed to receive it.

Maybe I was just been lazy, I don't know, everything was just unpleasing to me throughout the day so I went back to doing the only thing that seemed not to require any extra effort; sleeping.

"Heyy man, are you okay." Someone tapped my shoulder, it was Dylan, I hadn't opened my eyes yet but I knew his voice.

I didn't answer, I couldn't. I tried opening my eyes but my lids felt heavy, then there was tyr sharp pain I felt in my head.

"Oh shit, you are sick." I could hear Dylan again."Have you been on the bed since I left this morning?"

I wish I could answer his question but I couldn't even find my voice, I could here Dylan curse more while asking me to try to get up holding on to him but I couldn't.

.....

I opened my eyes slowly, my head still ached but lesser now. I looked around, just to my left actually, I was still in my bed. I sat up.

"Hey Dylan?" I heard a familiar voice.

"Yeah?" I turned and I saw Dylan sitting at the study desk as he answered.

"He's awake." Was it her? I could hear Ann's voice, was she here? I looked around and there she was sitting on Dylan's bed.

I blinked repeatedly trying to open my eyes properly to see her. Dylan came to me, he wasn't wearing his glasses for some reason, they were just in his hands, he was probably cleaning them before I woke up.

"How do you feel now?" He asked.

"I don't know, I think I had a headache but it seems to have stopped." I grimaced as I talked.

"Headache?" He chortled. "Bro, your body was freaking hot, I had to call the school clinic, they sent a nurse, and you think you just had a headache?"

"What did the nurse say?" I smiled, I had spent just a few months with him and he looked so worried about me right now.

"She said it was just a fever."

"You called her too?" I asked in a lower voice, referring to Ann.

"No, she came to see you and met with your situation, so she decided to wait."He whispered back.

"How long has she been waiting?"

"Long enough to see you sleep like a baby." Dylan laughed. "I think he's okay now, you both can talk." He said making way for her as she came by the bed.

"Are you really okay now?" She asked smiling.

"Yeahhh, I guess so." I replied her, damn she was beautiful. She wasn't wearing any makeup at the moment and she looked pretty.

She was wearing a jean short, exposing those pretty thighs and an orange shirt which she tied it's button end above her navel.

"Ohhh, you have drugs to take, I fucking hate drugs, I can't even believe I took that postinor pill for nothing." She said and Dylan put back on his glasses.

"Alright, I'm outside, should give you guys some time." He headed out. When he closed the door it was just me and her now. She decided to sit by my leg on the bed.

"The doctor at the school hospital, who ran my test, he says I need to see a gynecologist regularly from now." She began looking away, she wasn't smiling anymore."I need to fix a weekly or monthly checkup appointment with this gynaecologist and get learn things that are going to be good and things that could be harmful for both me and the baby."

"The school hospital doesn't.....?" I was going to ask if the school hospital didn't have a gynecologist but she cut me short with an answer.

"No, they don't. We need to go find a good hospital and fix an appointment date and time with a good gynecologist."

"Oh."

"Yeah, and you are gonna come with me right?" She looked at me as she asked, I could see her face more clearly now she was closer, under her eyes were swollen.

"Were you crying again?" I asked, still looking at me, she began to blink incessantly, batting her naturally long lashes repeatedly, she looked away again and I saw a tear slide down her cheeks from the side and she immediately wiped it with her left fingers, I heard her sniff.

I couldn't just understand her. She was the one who decided to keep the baby and now she was crying about it (probably). I sat up more, so I could stretch my arm to reach her, where she sat on the bed. With my palm, I covered her small hand. She looked at me, her eyes were red and so were the tip of her nose. I rubbed her hands, hoping it made her feel better. Even if she looked cute with those welled up tears in her eyes and how pink her face had become, I still didn't want to see her cry.

"You look cute when you cry." I found myself confessing and got a sad chuckle from her.

"I know." She smiled wiping her tears. "I used to play roles where I would cry in school plays, back in highschool, my literature teacher said I was best for the role, all the time."

"Really." I stated making it less of a question, because I believed her. She nodded, sniffing still.

"Can I hug you right now?" My eyes widened when she asked.
