meeting a gangster

(The mysterious young man introduces himself and shakes hands with Ankit.)

Praveen: My name is Praveen.

Ankit: I'm Ankit, and thank you.

Praveen: Do you know these people?

Ankit: I know one of them. He's connected with the Tiger Gang.

Praveen: They're all part of the Tiger Gang, and now you're on their radar.

Ankit: Probably.

Praveen tells Ankit that there are several groups in the college that consider themselves gangs, but officially, three gangs hold dominance. One is the Tiger Gang, the other is the Nigam Gang, and the most dangerous is the Black Man Gang.

Ankit: Are you also part of a gang?

Praveen: I'm the leader of the Nigam Gang in this college.

(Ankit reacts with a surprised expression.)

Ankit: Did you form this gang?

Praveen: No, my elder brother formed it when he was in college.

Ankit: Black Man Gang and Tiger Gang?

Praveen: The Tiger Gang has been around for about three years, and the Black Man Gang was founded by a man named Tony Flower.

Ankit: Who leads the Black Man Gang in college?

Praveen: There are two leaders in college—Tihan and Sopen.

(Ankit, with a nervous and surprised expression.)

Ankit: Sopen? Isn't he our sports teacher?

Praveen: Everyone knows about Tihan, but very few know that Sopen is also a member of the Black Man Gang.

Ankit: Why is he involved in all this?

Praveen: Sopen is into drugs and drinking. He gets these things through the gang.

Ankit: What? (His mouth drops open in shock.)

Praveen: The Black Man Gang is connected to mafia, drug traffickers, and shooters outside of college.

(Ankit becomes visibly more nervous and, with a hint of fear, says.)

Ankit: I should head home; it's getting late.

Praveen: Wait. I want you to join the Nigam Gang with me.

Ankit: I'm not interested in any of this; I just want to study.

Praveen: If you join me, it'll stay between us.

(Considering his situation, Ankit reluctantly agrees and leaves.)
