Greg Chen had just returned from his pretend jog, he was so exhausted that he planted himself on the couch for a solid hour unmoving then got up to take a shower. For someone who was lazy he actually had a good looking body, he was not masculine or skinny he was in between plus he was really tall with long straight hair that made him look like an angel in nerd glasses. As to why he was never interested in women or men was just a mystery to be investigated another day.

After he took a shower he sat down by his desk and went through the pictures he had gathered so far of Lily and Chris, they looked so happy, he even had a live video update of their apartment, he had someone plant a few cameras in their house when they went out to the zoo. It was easier to gather information about their next move that way.

Normally he'd sent the information he already gathered to his client but with the new development in the case that Lily was pregnant he was caught between a rock and a hard place. It was none of his business but he had grown softer on Lily because of the baby, he wanted her to have her baby but she was going to give birth in four months times and his client expected results by the end of the week, it was already Wednesday.

So the only choice he had was to capture Lily in her current condition and send her to the madman with no conscious. "If I wanted to I could hide you in a place that nobody would find you" Greg said while looking at a picture of Lily. Looking at her picture was mesmerizing, her eyes and her smile would entrap any man who dared to look her way no wonder Eric DeGrasse could not be without her she must've trapped him with her soulful eyes as well.

He smirked at those thoughts, he was actually caring about someone else either than himself for once, growing up with a stepfather who was really just his trainer he had no family ties or friends to love so he did not bother to understand other people's emotions. Lily on the other hand got him thinking and worse he was feeling something painfully unfamiliar inside his cold empty chest. It was like the iceberg that had frozen over was melting away from warmth of Lily's sun in his life.

He shook off those sweet thoughts and straightened up his back, the capture of the damsel was still a job that he was paid to do, even if he loved her she would not love him back because she already had someone else in her heart. "Why bother helping you, your fate betrays you my darling" he murmured to himself. Love was an intangible pointless emotion that would always end in disaster and he liked his peace very much, it was decided then, Lily would be back with the monster by Saturday morning. For now, she could enjoy the time she had left with her lover.

Greg wondered if Eric DeGrasse would accept Lily's child or get rid of it, it would be after all proof that another man had touched her, knowing what he knows the child In Lily's womb was never meant to see the light of day. He took out his phone and dialed Eric's number to give him report on the case.

The phone rang twice and it was picked up, it was as if Eric had been waiting for his call for ages. "Greg, what news have you for me?" Eric asked eagerly, doesn't he know how to greet first? Rich people can be so rude Greg thought to himself. "Calm yourself Mr DeGrasse, I'm right on schedule, your wild flower will be in your house by Saturday morning" Greg assured his client. Eric was happy to hear those words, Greg was indeed competent in his work, he thought he should hire him as his personal employee permanently. "Do you have any pictures or videos for me?" Eric asked, he loved looking at new pictures of Lily, they made him feel close to her.

"Mr DeGrasse you hired me as an investigator and someone to capture a woman for you, I don't remember agreeing to being your stalker or photographer" Greg said in a calm voice, there was no way he was going to send any of the evidence he had gathered of her to the monster, if he finds out what's happening with Lily he might really hurt her. "My bad, anyway I'll see her everyday from Saturday and so on, I'll wait to hear from you" Eric ended the call there. He was not usually a talkative man but when it came to Lily he could write a book and give speeches about her, Garret knew that better than anyone.

"My love will be here soon" Eric chuckled, he had walked out of a meeting with an important client to pick up his phone but it was all worth it.
