The reality of big cities!

<p>The words were simple and short but were very on point Benjamin read the letter 5 times before flipping the paper on the back explained what will happen in the next 30 days in detail and explained how the infection worked ofcourse it wasn't anything ground breaking just explaining bites and scratches and bodily fluids finishing reading everything on the letter Benjamin just took a deep breath and said "Fuck so it's all true I thought it was just crazy people how the news portrayed them but now looking at the words in the letter and the symptoms those infected show it's spot on" said Benjamin to himself being homeless he has seen homeless people eating each other these past few days he had thought it was a new drug in the streets but now it seems way more deadly Benjamin shook the box to see if anything else would come out and something did a small knife picking it up and hiding it between his jacket as he knows there are military patrolling the streets he has seen with his own eyes them mowing down some infected, looking around the street to make sure nobody saw him as he still didn't understand the gravity of the situation and was thinking like a law abiding citizen in peace times, down the street Benjamin saw atleast 5 box's being delivered by the guy on the bicycle amongst the homeless on the street and taking a closer look all who got them were wearing atleast a piece of military uniform some wore boots while others only the pants either he didn't want to gather attention of the other homeless so he went with the only thing he could think of that'll get the veteran's attention so he yelled "OSCAR VICTOR ECHO ROMEO HOTEL ECHO ROMEO ECHO (over here) these words were heard through out the entire street the homeless around thought he was going crazy so they distance themselves from him afterall they don't want to be eaten but the 5 veterans who got the box looked at Benjamin and the box next to him although they can't tell it's the same but looking at the contents on his lap looks like the same as theirs they got up and headed towards Benjamin, this was happening all over the United States as homeless veterans started staying in groups together for safety<br/><br/>The day alex made the speech, Sacramento in an abandoned warehouse 30 men all dirty and in military uniform could be seen sitting around a campfire they all looked dead but they were alive they look highly depressed and amongst them was Benjamin shortly after reading the letter and gathering the five veterans they left the place to find somewhere secluded but only a few days later shit started hitting the fan as Benjamin and his crew could hear explosions and gun shots from night to day but they got lesser and lesser as the days past until it finally all stopped and was replaced with roars through out the city, the 24 people present were from the army as the bases got overrun due to internal infections or hordes some evacuated which unfortunately left some men behind and some were flat out destroyed the men here we're fortunately rescued by Benjamin they confirmed each others identities by telling military time and military codes which finally earned theyre trust as all of them have seen horrendous stuff done by humans before the fall off sacramental Benjamin has even witnessed people throwing others into zombies to escape he even saw a lady throw her baby at zombies to survive this made the entire group very cautious to others not they're own, as the warehouse was quite the radio started going off "pzzt…pzzzt…pzzzt" "what the fuck is going on are they finally going to nuke the cities" said a men with his head down clearly already given up hope as he started to laugh the others thought the same including Benjamin but they didn't speak until the radio finally started to speak (couldn't find any other terminology to say that someone was talking through the radio ☹️) "zzz…. This is war of extinction has come, the war came to suddenly military's around the world struggle, infrastructure and communications are being broken left to right in the military side, jets and special vehicles are not working anymore due to maintenance and missing parts the military are not shooting in the head as a lot of people still think they can be saved and limited knowledge on how the infection works leading to inside infection the gun fire draws in infected all military bases are facing a never ending war with heavy weapons often failing due to poor maintenance, military and civilians are struggling in major cities with hordes of hundreds a of thousands maybe millions, God won't help us…zzz"as those words rang out with a defeated tone the entire warehouse was just deathly silent some even looked at the ceiling in a daze as others took out their pistols and played with it in their hands like they were contemplating something but this mood didn't last longer as the radio sounded again "zzz…so what if we are currently losing the battle I'll rather die then surrender they shall have this battle but we shall win the war we will fight we will survive and we will die with glory as we fight for mankind we will reclaim our world for our future generations we shall live forever as Legends…zzz"<br/>As the words were said you could hear them getting more determined as if he just determined his own fate before they could even react as they were now standing up staring at the radio the radio went "zzz…GLORY TO MANKIND!….GLORY TO MANKIND! GLORY TO UMBRELLA…zzz" as the voice ended with now the man screaming those words that would be imprinted in the minds of every survivor it was followed up with a group that seemed to have a will as strong as steel and as strong determination as the other men repeated after him and added "GLORY TO UMBRELLA!"</p>
