Loading up!

<p>After inspecting the trucks and figuring out they were in good conditions to drive Alex talked in the radio "Zzz…begin taking everything to the basement garage there are 5 trucks load them up don't leave anything behind…Zzz"<br/>"Zzz…roger that"<br/>"Zzz.."<br/>After giving out the orders to his team to start moving everything into the trucks to leave, Janet to the side said "Alex can I help in removing the lab equipment I don't want them to break oh and there are some test subjects that turned so I gotta advise your team on where they are" said Janet as Alex nodded and notified the team of Janet and what she was going to do lest someone shoots her thinking it's an intruder after all Janet didn't come out until everyone left as Janet left leaving Alex and Chris standing alone as Alex was thinking of plans Chris took out a phone and started playing with it seeing Chris play with a phone alex got a little curious and asked "do both of you got family?" Hearing Alex ask with curiosity Chris gave his phone to Alex, Alex who was confused looked at the phone in Chris hand and realized it was a type of chest game where both players play at each sides of the phone luckily Chris phone were big enough as Alex being 195cm or 6'5 he had big hands "chess I use it to relieve stress let's play a game while we talk you don't want to stand in the garage doing nothing right?" Said Chris as Alex seeing he already made his move started making his move on his side of the phone <br/><br/>"Yeah so me and Janet have family extremely distant but family after all me and Janet warned them surviving is up to them" said Chris while making his move while Alex responded "distant like in cousins, uncle and aunts who only call to ask for money?" Said Alex in a joking tone as Chris smiled bitterly and said "yeah luckily they can't call right now as they are out of this state if they could they would be begging none stop to evacuate them" said Chris with a bitter smile as he then proceeded to laugh and say "checkmate" Alex who was about to say something looked at the phone to see his king was taken making him say "this is some bullshit" In frustration as Chris laughed even more and asked "one more" while Alex just rolled his eyes and went with him after all even if he lost this game did relieve some stress as the game started alex finally responded to what Chris said "luckily I don't have any family other than my parents as my parents cut off their entire family" said Alex with contempt as the reason they were cut off was because they were greedy shits after his mother and fathers business took off asking for more and more until they got cut off they didn't act like family or considered them family only cash cows so this was a pretty easy decision for them luckily he was born after they were cut off so he had no relationship with them they didn't even know of his existence "true I would think a family for us would be a burden but for some people it might motivate them to continue living" said Chris as Alex nodded then asked "how long you and your wife been together?" This question caught Chris a little of guard but he recovered and said "hmm we first got together in our first year of college and now we are now 35 so 15 years or higher" said Chris with a smile as Alex smiled and said "15 years and no kids what are you infertile?" Alex said in a joking manner as he laughed after words while Chris just had a sour face he wished to beat this man up right now but looking at that stature and muscles he knew he would lose so he said with a sour tone "no I'm perfectly fertile it's just we decided not to have children until our careers stabilize we were about to have some this year but you know what happened next" said Chris as he sighed at the end of the sentence alex just smiled and said "we have facilities for child birth oh and by the way do you know a place where we could get more scientists" said Alex as Chris first just smiled knowing he won't have a child in this chaotic time then went into thinking at Alex's question "probably some research university almost all universities are research universities so this is not a problem they are alot of universities in Wisconsin almost every city has atleast 2 and Appleton has a pretty big one Illinois has a alot aswell I have met some researchers and have some friendship with some in those universities around us and maybe some private scientist teams for some companies" said Chris as he then said "checkmate" with a smile while Alex smiled bitterly thinking of the possibilities of getting those researchers out of the universities<br/><br/>As Chris and Alex were chatting and playing the first set of equipment to be pack came down stairs 5 of Alex's men holding 3 duffle bags each looking to be filled being curios of what was in the bags he watched them put it in the back of a trucked and asked them "what's in those bags?" Asked Alex as a man in the group responded "guns, ammo and tear gas we got it from the armory although it's a small stockpile of only 20 ar's a couple thousand bullets and a few tear gas grenades" said the man as he took a pistol from a bag and handed it too Chris as he left with his group who were chatting about something, Chris looked at the gun in his hand a little hesitant "keep it your too important not to have some protection in case some unforeseen circumstances happen shoot anyone that violates your personal space and I'm sure you know what to do with those that show symptoms of infection"</p>
