The shop was already filled with neighbors and well wishers. Regular customers of the shop and anyone who was open to receive free food.
Children adults alike, everyone was coming. Loud music that could be heard from as far as ten blocks away, played continuously in the shop.
"Don't just eat free food, better gift our birthday girl something!" Roxy hisses at one who just entered the shop and had already collected two plates of food.
"AHH!!" She cries out as Mama Mae's scolding palm landed viciously on her back.
"Don't mind her, she's the daughter with bad manners." Mama Mae simply says as she passes food to a child seating on the same table as the man.
"What is wrong about what I said? Shouldn't she get—" Mama Mae's palm slap Roxy's running mouth, pulling her by her lips and dragging her into the kitchen.
