CHEOL'S POV
I awoke as the sun began to rise through Kelly's window, out of habit. I was accustomed to getting up early and leaving my house by six-thirty in the morning on a regular basis, going to fill my time with activities that I was unable to complete the night before.
Suddenly, I had lost track of my location and my mind reeled behind my closed eyelids, trying to come up with all the possible explanations as to why there was another body next to me. Of course, when I opened my eyes, my internal debate was over in a split second, and the memories of the previous night flooded back into my mind.
The fact that I woke up with Kelly in my arms felt like a miracle to me. Something that I had hoped would never had happen, and the fact that it had was enough to send a strange sense of relief coursing through my veins, I realized. I focused my attention on the angel that was resting in my arms.
