Arthur Cromwell - the hated one

The year 1003 of the Magi calendar.

"Ugh! man, it hurts" a weakened voice from a small wooden cabin. "Why did they have to beat me every time they see me?" he started treating his wounds.

A maid walks into the cabin "Milord! what happened to you?" she asks with a concerned tone.

"It's nothing new just as usual the knights beat me up." knights always pick a fight with him. this time they beat him by using the excuse of training him.

"Those morons are always mocking you and beating you, how dare they do this to you I must report this to his highness he will them for sure," she says with an angry expression.

"Don't worry about me Jenny It's no use even if you tell my father it's not like he is gonna punish the knights, to him knights are more valuable than me."

she knows that but still wants to help him. he gets up and slowly walks outside.

"Milord! I still haven't treated your wound fully." he turns around and says, "it's fine if I sit around any longer those guys will beat the crap out of me again; before they come in here you should leave Jenny." she sees him with a sad expression.

"if that's what Milord wishes so be it, I'll take my leave young master." she leaves with a sad look on her face.

'My name is Arthur Cromwell, I'm the second son of Duke Augustus Cromwell. my family is famous for wind mages since everyone inherited wind or wind-related attributes and has always been the strongest wind mages in the whole continent.'

'My family always hated me for not having any talent in magic especially my father I've not even seen him once in 4 years after that day.'

He always trains his body like hell because he wanted to be acknowledged by his father.

Even though he is training every day there are still limitations to a 14-year-old boy even if he gets stronger there is no point to it because physical strength is nothing compared to magicians. some can destroy whole mountains if they are stronger.

He knew this still because of his desperation he tries everything he can. " Huff! Pant! I think this is it for today.' breathing very hard.

"Hey what's that loser is doing" a voice from a distant friend of Arthur's brother Ryan. "hey stop it don't tease my little brother" with a sarcastic smile.

"Sorry, brother I'm just working out a bit in the training grounds I don't mean to disturb you I'll leave then" Arthur tries to leave but "hey! little brother wait for me a bit."

"you little shithead you think I will let you off the hook just because you say sorry; I've already told you that you shouldn't enter the estate unless it's necessary if I see you here next time I will tell the knights that are in charge of you. you know what that means right." Since Arthur is restricted from entering the castle, he will be punished if he wanders around the estate other than the cabin near the garden.

"Hey! Ryan, let's go we don't have time for shit like this."

"Sorry, brother I won't come here again" bows his head. he knows even if he gets into a fight with him nothing much differs he will only just get kicked out of the mansion.

" Man that's all you got here I thought, I can beat the shit out of him. I guess he is your brother after all. hey, you should be grateful to him since he is the one who always saves you from getting punished by the duke."

"thank you, brother Ryan, I will keep that in mind. then I will take my leave" Arthur grit his teeth in anger and leaves. he walks towards the cabin.

He sees his little sister (Laura) in the garden on his way to the cabin. so, he always visits her from a distance.

She sees Arthur and then tries to leave the place immediately with a disgusted face. seeing that she is uncomfortable Arthur turns around and sees that the prince and princess are here to visit his sister he greets them and leaves

A maid arrives at the garden and says "the crown prince and the princess have arrived lady Laura" Laura greets them both "welcome your highness crown prince and princess."

Henry de Rass, The first prince of the Rass kingdom.

He is one of the blessed magicians in the kingdom with the unique attribute of magic in history. his attribute is 'metal'. he can forge metal into weapons or any form or shape at will. he is crowned as the crown prince of the kingdom. he has a brother still he doesn't compare with henry due to his attribute and his lack of self-confidence.

Olivia de Rass, The first princess of the Rass kingdom.

She is known as a saint since she has an affinity for light magic with her magic she can make a miracle a month like splitting up a mountain or making it rain in a dessert and she can use healing magic comparable to a high priest.

"what might be the reason for his highness to be here?"

"Now! Now! why are you being cold can't I see my fiance when I want to"

"Your majesty it's only been a week since our engagement was announced why are you visiting me every day for the past one week."

"I just so happen to pass by your palace while I was visiting marquis reige."

she frowns and says "so you are saying that you came to see me every day by just passing by."

"ok! ok! I know it doesn't make any sense yeah I'm visiting you because you have never been to the palace and Liam always speaks about you I'm just curious what type of person you are."

Laura replies "Since you are the crown prince it's not like I can stop you or anything still I'm not that much of a bad pers that you have to be so careful of me."

"Nah! I'm not saying that you are a bad person or anything I'm just saying I'm curious about the rumors that you are the angelic person in the whole kingdom."

"Enough with flattery your highness."

"Hey! why are you being so cold with the person you are soon to be marrying?"

Olivia says "brother stop being a child and lady Laura the person who greeted us in front of the garden is your rumored brother Arthur"

"He is, currently he has been living in the barn since he is prohibited from entering the palace because of his violent nature"

The princess asks "what do you mean by violent nature?"

Laura replies "he used to be a nice person but after his mother's death he got depressed and suddenly he started attacking people and even misbehaving with the maids, nowadays seeing his face is just getting on my nerves."

she started crying even though she despise her brother now she still sees him as the brother who has been nice to her and played with her in their childhood, even more than her own brother.

"I'm sorry lady Laura I didn't mean to hurt your feelings I'm sorry for asking about him"

"it's fine since I know there is no turning back to the past I'm getting over it."

"Why are you crying for such a moron, he should be glad that he has a sister like you."

"ok, since you're in a bad mood we will be leaving, for now, don't think about a moron like him okay.
