"Sir, approaching planet within 2 hours" announced Poe, interrupting my hopeless flipping and twisting of the rubrics cubic between my fingers. No closer to being solved.
"Dang it… I still can remember the last part to solve the third layer" he muttered, frustration evident in his voice.
"Do you need assistance?" Poe offered in a sweet yet robotic tone.
"No Poe, I'm fine thank you. Do initial scan on the planet and give a report."
"Yes sir."
"And quit with the "sir" Poe. Kash is fine. Use it"
No response from Poe as Kash sank into the spongy cushion of the Captain's chair his sitting. Rough fingers idly traced the edges and faces of the Rubik's cube. His gaze flitting between it and the monitors and displays of the ship.
The cool pale blue interior of the vessel sends nostalgia for the man. Reminding him his living the life only seen in sci-fi movies and books from his time.

"Jackpot!! Ha ha!" Kash said loudly in excitement.
"Poe, does this system have enough resources for our project?"
"More than enough Kash" confirmed by Poe
"Good enough then! Begin resource extractions from the asteroid belts and gas giants."
"Releasing extraction drones, construct modules, and foundation units." Poe announced.
Taking his view forwards. He marveled at the sight of the planet in all its majesty on the projected holographic screen. Just on the surface of the clear glass, which is suppose to be the front window of Poe with metal shielding outside.
The projected screen showed most of the planets looked liked autumn and spring are at war. There combination similar to an army clashing in battle and scattering all over the continents. There were also polar regions above the north continent and a desert region on the south-east continent. White fluffy and swirling clouds flow above the planets surface.
"Do you want to activate "rush job" mode?" Poe suggested.
Index finger placed below his chin, he pondered the question as Poe initiated the drones.
On the screen, hundreds of small white dots are flickering, flying, and blinking out of existence as their Chaos Drives leave a stream of light. Disappearing like shooting stars.
"No thank you poe. Quality is our priority. Let the drones multiply first. We have time to plan."
"Understood, Kash. Whats our next task after the extraction and multiplication phase is accomplished?"
"Lets see, Pop-up the report please" he asked leaning back on his chair.
*Pop*
The report appears next to the view of the planet. He raised his hands and quickly swiped the report on the screen to his monitors. Making several copies.
"Ok… we stabilize the atmosphere and begin seedings here." He extended his index finger between the four continents.
"Those large island groups will be home base. Construct a cityscape entertained with nature. The city should have an industrial capacity to supply both civilian and military space vessels and provides habitation for potential clients wanting to live here. The star port will be next to the mountain."
"How about the native fauna and flora present on the planet?" Poe said and images popped next to the reports. Data about the present life forms on the planet.
"Look into the gene vault. The planet is Earth-like right? Use the Modifiers and make it similar to Earth's wild life and ecosystems."
Pausing for a moment before continuing. Putting away the Rubik's cube he was holding.
"Hhmm… Make them more robust. It says here, the gravity is a little higher than Earth's. Weird… Must be the unknown elements. Well, atleast there harmless."
"Planet's terraforming phase is at 54 percent. Expected completion in less than 5 years."
"5 years? That soon?" said in a surprised tone. It usually takes a decade or more. Given most planets that the human species terraformed are inhospitable.
"Its already half done so lucky me" he thought.
"Yes, the necessary components are already present. We only need to continue the process to complete.
"Great! Cryo-Sleep can wait, got stuff to do first so we'll be working together for awhile during my waking time."
"Affirmative Kash. How long will you be awake?"
"More than a year I think. Then I'll go to Cryo-Sleep. Wake me up at 95 percent, ok?"
"As you wish Kash."
"Ok then… If you need me, I'll be in the workshop."
Placing both hands on the edge of the console, he stood up and stopped midway.
"Wheres my Pad?"
He spun around and darting his eyes everywhere the pad maybe. Eventually he remembered and placed a foot behind him and did an about-face. He spotted the pad behind the corner, on top a desk behind stacked books and manga. He grabbed it and went to the elevator, tapping on the dark screen. It came to life and showed a logo of Earth with a diagonal ring. The letters U and E in the middle of the silhouette Earth.
He continued tapping to see unfinished tasks and lists of jobs. Mainly maintenance and improvements on Poe.
"Build cozy home on planet" was highlighted and in bold letters.
"Poe? Wheres my toolbox at?"
"Its under the molecular printer Kash. You left it last time when your working on the combat suit with the maintenance and construction drones."
"Thank you Poe."
"Your welcome but I need to inform you that you haven't given the system its name yet." Poe reminded.
"Oh yeah. I forgot. Then the systems name is Kasuy. As for the planet near us, Chocomallow."
"The rest… Eh" shrugging his shoulders
"We'll get to tha—"
A light bulb went on inside Kash's head.
"How about you name them?" He offered, forming a smile on his face.
"Are you certain?" Poe asking in a slight intrigued tone.
"Yes Poe, go ahead and name them."
"Will do"

The drones humming and hovering in the air. Bouncing and bobbing up and down. Going forwards and back, switching tools after tools as they do a finishing job on the Persona Vessel. Its head on the table. Its two arms and legs still segmented but the drones will work on it later.
"Hows the synchronicity test?"
He asked as he lifts a proton capsule with one hand on the work table. Twisting the cap, he removed it, took off the proton cage in the middle, amd replaced it with a spare next to him. Sealed the capsule back on and two drones flew by to snatch the capsule from the table.
"And done.."
He said, opening and closing his hands. Popping sounds can be heard from his hands joints.
"Are the simulations accurate?"
"Yes Kash. Persona vessel has accurate synch with natural body motion. Enhancers are also installed to perform actions similar to an Enhanced Human"
"Good… After its done, keep it maintained and optimal. "
*Yawn*
"I think its time for me to sleep. Im past my scheduled bed time."
Stretching upwards his whole body and and placing his right hand on his mouth.
He then spread his arms to his side and legs apart. With a quick motion. He twisted his body to both left and right sides.
*Pop* *Pop* *Pop*
"Oh dang… How long was I awake?"
"Roughly 1 years and 8 months Kash. Your sleep varied from two to three hours"
"Sh@#! Im going to bed" he announced. Standing in attention and pointing his index finger up. He turned around and walked out towards the elevator.
The Chaos Drive hums and glows in a light purple color. Flashing in a slow and steady beat. Glowing lines coming from the drive send pulses. Robotic Multi-task industrial arms surround it incase of needed maintenance or protection.
"Have a good long sleep Kash."
"You too. Don't forget to rest from time to time. I don't care if you can work 24/7. You should also rest."
"Will do."

He went inside the elevator.

The door slides open, splitting in two with a subtle chime. A long wide lit corridor with several doors from the left and right presents itself to Kash
He walk forwards. Boots making a thumping sound with every step he took within an eerie and empty path.
*Yawn*
His mouth gaped open. Not slightly bothered by the atmosphere he always lives in and sees everyday.

His door opens to neat and tidy room with cryo-sleep chamber parallel to his bed on each end of the room. Pictures of people on the wall infront of him. He smiles a little.
"Im home guys…" he greeted in a low tone. He look to his right where the chamber was.
"A change of clothes?" Thinking to himself
"Nah… Ill do it when I wake up."
Climbing straight to the cryo-sleep chamber. He Opened it with a push of a button on a panel next to it.
*Fuusssh*
Cold air escapes and occupy the room with him. The cold temperatures created a creeping mist, obscuring the sight of the seat. The chemical atomizers are twitching and moving. Exercising its parts due to being unused for so long.
"Poe, do maintenance check on the chamber."
"Yes."
The report immediately came.

"Alright! Time for bed." Hopping inside and then the transparent glass door hissed as it closed in on him. Nailing shut like a coffin
He adjusted his positioning on the seat.
*Click* *Click*
*Psssssssttt*
The inducer activated and sprayed the sleeping solution. It vaporized and mixed with the air in the chamber. Slowly, it made Kash's eyes weigh a ton for every breath he took. His heart rate slowed and breathing becomes shallow to appoint that someone without knowledge of the technology will think his dead.
Darkness envelopes his vision and Poe sent a last message.
"Good night, sir… *giggle*" Poe said emphasizing the last part teasingly.
"Dang… It… Poe" he muttered before everything went dark and dead silent.

---Inside the chamber---
"Good morning Kash."
Kash slowly woke up from cold sleep still in a state of half-sleep. Feeling the cool air in the cryo-sleep chamber, he twitched and contracted my muscles. Moving fingers and toes little by little. Heart going up to normal rhythm, pumping blood throughout the body. The chamber became toasty to speed things up. Eventually the champer door splits open and Kash climbed out.
He stretched his arms in the air and was on my toes. I twisted and bends my body and did sets of light to moderate, then finishing with high intensity exercises. Push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, jogged in place, high knees and several other exercises. After doing this for 20 minutes. He was good to go.
"Oh yeah! Ready and set"
"Congratulations, Kash"
"Thanks Poe. Is the Persona vessel ready?" He asked, taking his clothes off and wiped off the sweat on his body with a towel provided by drone.
"Thank you" thanking the drone.
"Please proceed to the recreation platform. Your persona vessel is ready to synch with you."
"Thanks Poe, deliver construction supply to the middle of the west continent. Please show map"
The small assistant drone who gave him a towel. Jutted a projector next to its single eye. It showed the map of Chocomallow.
"Right here in this large clearing. Next to the green forest up north"
"Understood, sending crates to designated location. Transport pod ready to deploy for the PV"
---Recreational platform---
Kash stands next to his 2.5 meters tall Persona Vessel. Solid super titanium and super steel body. A chaos core in the chest cavity together with a control unit to send signals to the metal fibers forming the muscles for biological motion, as well as combined aluminum, steel and graphite alloy platings to protect it.
A muscular but athletic build. Similar to Kash in build but not his height. His four centimeters shorter than the PV. Kash wore a fitting sensor suit. Riddled with motion sensing spots.
"Begin synching process" Poe's voice echoed.
Kash raised his arms but the PV did not respond. He raised his right foot.
"Calibrating"
*Twiiing* *Click*
*Whirr*
The PV copied Kash's body position. Kash then jogged and the PV mimicked his movements and followed behind with a slight lag.
"Calibrating"
*Ping*
Kash jumped and the PV followed. Then they ran, jumped on obstacles, and did rolls. The PV followed Kash like a reflection in a mirror and done near instant adjustments not to crash and copied his movements perfectly when catching up.
"Poe! Initiate the final test."
*Click*
The whole platform went dark and a spot light appeared above Kash and PV.
*Cue Michael Jackson's Billie Jean*
Their feet glides across the floor. Executing footwork following the songs beats. Moving their arms making pointing gesture to the sky while they shuffle their feet and do kicks. They spun around and did the signature crotch-grabbing gesture.
As the song progressed, they kick and shuffle their feet. Moving their bodies to the beat of the King of Pop.
Lastly, they did the famous moonwalk in a circular motion before posing in a dramatic way.
*Applause sound* activated by Poe
The two did a bow and hugged.
"Ok… ok… Send—" He looked at the black reflective ballistic-glass face plate and thought for a moment. Placing a hand on its shoulder and PV did the same.
"Michael… to the surface. Lets begin making that cottage"
"How long will it take for you to build it, Kash?"
"I can finish it under a month if the weather isn't too rough. Is… the weather rough?" He said wishing not to be true.
"Rougher, but the biodiversity can handle it."
"Da@# it..." cursed quietly "Make it two then"
Poe guided Michael to the transport pod and sent it to the surface of the planet.
Kash sat on the floor of the platform. His legs feeling the slight movement of the floor as it adjusted to his comfort.
"Its amazing how far our technology went. Turns out, we were smart enough not to blow our sh#t up and those rich corrupt A-holes love their money and power too much to let the world burn because they want more of it. Ironic.."
"They died last century ago Kash"
"And Living the high life, so it wasn't a loss for them either way"
*Michael is online*
Kash's surrounding turned into the the planets surface. Copying the surface with good accuracy but not to the very detail.
Enough to know where you are and whats around you.
He looked around through Michaels eyes and saw the supply crate.
He jogged. The floor on his feet moved the opposite of him. He was jogging but never leaving the middle platform. He passed fallen trees and small critters running away from him. Observant eyes spot Michael but remained distant. The predators unsure what the were seeing.
Chaser breathed deep and shouted to the projected sky.
*Let get this started!!*
On the surface, the bear like mammal saw the PV. It eyes focused at the general direction it was facing and saw… Nothing.
A whole lot of nothing…
PV then moved, jumping up and down. Clapping its hands and spreading its legs then standing straight in quick succession. It did not make a sound of anything familiar to prey or anything the predator was familiar to at all. It hears irritating noise from it.
*Growl*
*Huff*
The animal turned around and headed towards the forest. Probably thinking the tall creature is sick in more ways than one. Not worth hunting.
---After two months---
Two months of work and his cottage was nearly finished. Kash dealt with strong storms, lost supplies, and animal attacks.
But in his case was harassment from the wild life.
Mostly disturbing his work from either attacking him directly due to being mistaken for easy prey, a band of criminal brown raccoons stealing his tools, birds picking out materials on his supplies for their nests, and occasional visit from a large 5 meter long bear.
But to Kash's surprise,the bear wasn't a bother. He thought he was cool and have picnics with the bear. Kash called him Balu from the kids show he watched from his childhood.
---Present---
*Thud* *Thud* *Thud*
The ground below the feet of Michael parted as the weight of the trunk it carried above its head presses down on it. Making a deep Impression on the solid ground.
"Kash, the cottage is already finished. What is the purpose of the tree trunk?" Poe asked, detecting that he was carrying something heavy.
"I'm a little of an artist Poe. The cottage ain't done without a big wooden statue of Me, you, and Balu looking over the land" He proudly explained the significance of his task.
"I don't see the purpose" Poe replied.
"Sigh… Nevermind Poe, you'll understand soon but now we—"
*Massive Spacial Distortion Detected!!!*
"Located near the cottage" Poe annouced with a shocked tone.
"WHAAATT???!!!!!!"
*RWAAAA!!!*

*BOOOOOM!!*
The loud crash of the trunk Kash sent flying made a load explosion. Pushing up dust and debri in to the air.
Critters on the ground panic and scatter on all direction. Living some of their food and traces of fur.
*Squeek… Thump*
An animal shivered and froze in place. It fell on its side and went unconscious from the sudden shock.
Kash on the other hand, ran. Ran as fast as he could. Dust cloud forming from behind him. Zooming pass fields, jumping on boulders, and kicking unfortunate animals that was blocking his way.
"No no no no."
He prayed internally that nothing abd happened to his home. His feet blurring under him and passing by trees at great speeds.
"Please… please…"
He arrived but to his horror…
The cottage was no more…
The walls, torn to pieces.
The roof scattered every where.
Brocken glass on the ground.
The furniture in shambles.
Balu was sitting on his couch in the middle of the meadow.
He fell to his knees and screamed to the heavens.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!! MY HOUSE!!"
