Chapter 10: Should I Give Him a Chance?

<p>"Ding dong"the bell rang."I'm coming"Lisa said."Mum!!!" Chloe cried out."Baby, what's wrong...why are you crying"Lisa asked."Mum, should I give him a chance"Chloe asked."Who???"<br/>Lisa asked."Edward"Chloe said."Darling that choice is up to you to decide on"Lisa said giving her a kiss on her forehead.<br/> Chloe went to her room and freshened up."Chloe, what's your problem"Chloe said."Chloe, Chloe"a voice said. Chloe turned behind and saw herself."Chloe, Edward is a very nice guy...give him a chance"the voice said."Don't give him a chance...he humiliated you"another voice said. At that moment, Chloe saw two of herself... one was telling her to give him a chance and the other was telling her not to. It was like in the movies where a person will have an angel and demon side talking to him or her.<br/> The voices kept on repeating the same thing all over again in Chloe's head and she couldn't bear it again and shouted."GET OUT OF MY HEAD EDWARD" Chloe screamed.<br/> Lisa could hear Chloe scream but decided not to go to her room. She knew if she went there,she would get emotional and cry with her daughter. After all the shouting and screaming, Chloe slept.<br/> When Lisa heard that Chloe was quiet,she got worried and had thoughts that Chloe may have caused harm to herself. She quickly ran to Chloe's room and saw her daughter sleeping on the floor. She couldn't bear to see her daughter in such condition and ran out of the room in tears."Oh God,why does my daughter have to pass through this"Lisa said sadly."I think I'll have to call Phoebe.<br/> Lisa took her phone and called Phoebe."Good afternoon aunty Lisa"Phoebe said."Phoebe,please come over, it's important...Chloe needs you"Lisa said."What happened"Phoebe asked."Come over and I'll tell you everything"Lisa said.<br/> Phoebe stopped all her house chores and decided to meet Chloe. Ding dong,the bell rang."Lisa didn't bother to ask who was there and quickly opened the door. Phoebe saw Lisa in a very bad state. Lisa's face was pale and swollen but not compared to Chloe's.<br/> "Aunty Lisa,where is Chloe?"Phoebe asked."She's in her room...Chloe needs you right now"Lisa said. Phoebe rushed to Chloe's room.Phoebe got to the room and couldn't believe what her eyes saw. She saw Chloe looking so messy,her face was so pale and swollen and her room was a mess."Chloe... what's wrong with you"Phoebe asked in tears.<br/> Chloe didn't reply...all she could say was"should I give him a chance?...get out of my head Edward."Chloe"Phoebe shouted."Snap out of this madness"Phoebe said."Chloe bursted into tears "I don't know what's wrong with me...ever since that dinner,I've not been myself."Chloe,I've never seen you like this and especially not because of a guy"Phoebe said."I don't know why"Chloe said."Now listen to me,clean your face and let's clean this mess and maybe after this we'll go to the park and have some fresh air"Phoebe said <br/> After cleaning the mess Chloe made on herself and in her room,they both went to the park for some fresh air."I think this is what I need"Chloe said while inhaling the fresh air."I know what my bestie wants always"Phoebe said with a smile."Well,why don't I get us some ice cream"Phoebe said."Two chocolate ice cream please"Phoebe said to the ice cream vendor. <br/> Phoebe went to a sad Chloe with a cup of cold chocolate ice cream."Your ice cream is served mi lady"Phoebe's said."Thanks"Chloe said."Hold on,just thanks and not thank you madam or thanks my queen"Phoebe said with a frown on her face."Oh I'm so sorry my queen"Chloe said with a smile on her face."That's it"Phoebe said."Meaning???"Chloe asked."I want that smile to be on your face forever... it's means a lot to your mum,to me and to everyone."Phoebe said."Thank you so much Phoebe... thank you for being a sister and a good best friend"Chloe said while hugging her."I'm just performing my duties mi lady"Phoebe said.</p>
