Hating That Douche!

Before I can fully comprehend the fact that May just ran away (probably with Karolbagh) my door slams open and my so called 'Maid', Mira, rushes in looking breathless

"You.. Cassavetes and.. it-" She begins and stops as I interrupt her

"Take a deep breath" I advise her and realise that I should do the same to control my hard beating heart.

We both take deep breaths almost simultaneously and the maid begins speaking again with almost no traces of breathlessness left.

"Mr. Cassavetes has proposed to end the feud between Verocian and Nullum Cacas by.." She hesitates

I give her an encouraging smile and wait for her to continue while I wonder what is that douche up to now

"Marrying you" She says and for the second time that day, I feel my heart skip a beat (NOT OUT OF ANY LOVEY-DOVEY FEELINGS)

Honestly this would be the perfect time for a vase to crash

As I stay frozen, Mira attempts to leaves and accidentally knocks over a glassware which promptly breaks into a million shining crystals with a resonating sound

Ah! There it is!

Somehow that crash makes me jump out of my haze and think rationally

I am not going to marry that douche and if they make me then I am going to cause a hurricane

*~*

I began throwing all of my precious belongings (Where is chocolate when you need it the most?) into a large black suitcase and as soon as I had managed to (after jumping on it for quite a long time) close the suitcase and put it on the floor, the large wooden mahogany doors rang with strong and commanding raps.

Mumbling a few curses which I had picked up from some tipplers, I shove the suitcase carelessly under my bed before calming myself down and opening the door.

"You!" I exclaim angrily as I stare at douche who is staring at me with a light and almost invisible smirk on his face.

"Me" He agrees as the annoying smirk on his face becomes wider "So, how is my bride doing"

Trying not to puke, for starters

"Your bride?! Excuse me! But I was not included in the discussion" I say in a disbelieving tone.

"According to the laws, the father is fit to marry off his daughter to whoever he believes is capable enough" He recites with a smug look on his face.

Capable enough? My foot!

"Why would you want to marry me?" I ask completely baffled

"You see" Cristopher said, his expression growing darker and smugger "You are like a spark and I am quite attracted to it, but as the society says, women shouldn't be allowed to do whatever they want to. So I took it upon myself to make sure that the spark dies out before it causes a fire"

"How kind of you" I spit in anger

"It is, isn't it?" He said pleased by himself before walking towards me and making me take a few steps back

"Wh-what are you doing?" I ask as my back presses against the wall trying not to freak out and kick his manhood

"Making sure that you don't escape" He says bending down and grabbing my suitcase.

Shit!

"Hey! That's mine!" I yell and jump to grab the bag but manage to fall. Cristopher quickly walks out of the door with my bag in his hand and closes the doors too.

I get up and begin to run towards the door as I hear the faint sound of the key turning in the lock and before I can manage the open the doors, the key makes its final turn and successfully manages to lock the doors.

I decide not to waste any time and throw in a couple of very masculine tailcoats which were now my only possessions with the exception of a gown I was currently wearing.

I look at the backpack and realise how small it actually is.

Well, as they say, too many cooks spoil the broth.

I then move towards the windows and look around for the rope but only manage to find a small note.

You really think you will be able to escape my darling?

C.C.

I hate him!

I fume and take one of the worst decisions a human possibly can.

I jump from my window which was two floors high-

And now.... The real adventure begins!!
