Cohen POV
did I say something stupid again?
"miss are you okay?" Steve asked her
"you said Pamela sent you here?" she asked
"yeah...she did...so will you make me something nice?" I asked her
"sure sure....." she replied
"I just made these.. they are still hot so you can have them" she said and packed them up in the bag
"the soft drinks you gave her too" I replied as she looked up at me
"uh sorry but how did you know that?" she asked
"oh..we're.. uh..we're good friends of hers, so she gave us some of them" I explained.
"her friends? how come I never heard of you" she laughed and left coming back with what was asked for
"That's because we don't talk too much...I mean her" I replied
"oh okay..everything is just $600" she said
"oh that's all...?" I asked and dipped my hand into my pocket bringing out her pay
"its $1,000 you can keep the change" I said as I turned to leave picking the bag with me
"oh..thanks" she smiled
Steve picked the other bag as we walked out to leave
Pamela POV
I really shouldn't be at home probably be looking for job since it's still morning or wait..its late already
as early as early tomorrow morning I'll leave
My phone began to ring making me wonder who was calling
The caller ID showed 'Stacy'
Like seriously.. looks like she is ready to loose her job
"Hello ma'am missing me already?" I asked immediately I answered the call
"Pam?? you're awesome!!" she squealed
"and you're kinda stupid.. what if Mrs Murphy comes and see you on call during working hours?" I asked her
"I'd be fired!" she laughed
"you know that..so?"
"who cares...even if she fires me now..I'd get a job another place..but girl you're awesome" she replied
"oh thanks but why say that?"
"some guys just left he said you referred me to them" she said
"Me? was it my name they said!" I asked confusedly
"yes!!, they bought hotdogs, burger and drinks.. just like what we packed for you this morning" she said
My eyes went wide..did he really go back there
"Really???" I asked
"yeah..damn..I could tell they are both handsome" she said
"yeah yeah..my friends_" I smirked
"you're way cool..how come I never heard of them" she asked
"cos.... they d...don't like if I disclose their identity" I shrugged
Sounded true...
"oh I___" she trailed off
"Stacy!!!..... what are the rules in the kitchen!!". That was Mrs Murphy voice
"uh..Mrs Murphy..." she stammered shakily
"To be honest with you..I was talking to a customer.. he wants to know of our delivery services that's all" she said
I covered my mouth tight..I was gonna blow out laughing
"a customer?" her voice sounded cool
"Hurry and end the call" she said
"yeah sure...." she replied and I didn't hear anything again for some seconds
"oh that was close..talk later Pam" she said her voice back
"okay no problem... don't call during working hours next time" I said as she laughed
And then I ended the call with a sigh
"so they really went there...." I blinked rapidly
"wow....."
"See...I shouldn't have resigned!!" I yelled out childishly and fell to the couch laying down
Mason POV
I didn't hear from Cohen..I really wonder what he's doing now. That is my one and only best friend and brother from another mother. Could it be he is still in the company. I thought he said he won't take time there... "well get ready cos if you come late Cohen I'll skin you alive.. its close to noon and I haven't heard from him" I sighed and to be honest
The series is actually interesting but my mind Isn't fully here
I was just too happy to see the food
please don't call me a foodie cos I'm not..I've been looking for a perfect food..if its to eat burger for the rest of my life since I can't find a better cook

The door then went open... I turned back to see Cohen wiggling his brows at me
"what the hell dude...it took you like forever to come!!"
