Meeting by the Fire

By the time Jayce had finished explaining what he could to Lianna, he was dead tired. Thankfully she had calmed down enough to listen to what he had to say.

Jayce laid back on the bed and let out an exhausted sigh. He turned his head to the side and spotted Lianna fast asleep next to him. She too had been quite busy over the past week with the summit, not to mention all of the healing she administered in the aftermath of the attack.

His features softened as he saw her beautiful sleeping figure. He leaned down and gave her a kiss on the shoulder before bringing the blankets up further and covering her properly.

It should be around 3am right now, which meant he only had a few hours to get some sleep. Originally he had planned to sneak a peak at the contents of the spatial ring before resting, but it was far too late now.
