Chapter Fourty_Five: Darkness POV: The feather is the trace (Part two)

Song recommended: Strangers By Halsey Feat Lauren Jauregui

His shirt bloody from the fallen angel, he let out a sigh and fell onto his very own knees. He held her chin and helped her look into his own true eyes. They glowed brightly like rubies and she couldn't help but want to sob more because he still let her see him.

"Thank you, Rose." He whispered and let out a sob when he placed a kiss on her forehead, her right cheek, her left cheek and slowly descended to her very own lips.

"Ad infernum,"

Those bloody words rang through my mind as I stared at the darkness before me. The anger in me building in ways that shouldn't even come close to existing. I wanted to kill him but I also wanted to murder that bloody angel.

I blamed her for everything that was happening right now. Blamed her for what he had just done. Blamed her for having sent us on this wild road trip, this was all her fault and this was why he had sent me away with no way to return home.

"AHHHHH!" she screamed. She let it all out. All the pain and frustration, all the betrayal and pain. All the love and the rules that filled her rage even more. She didn't care about anything or about where she was. She was angry and so tired of this pain that just wouldn't stop building.

She didn't care about who heard her, she didn't care about the laws of hell or about the punishment she would receive. Damn them all, damn heaven and hell for all their rules. Damn the garden for all those tricks that no one would ever have known about.

Damn the love that she knew she wouldn't get returned. Damn that damn angel for ruining her chances of ever being close to him ever again. Damn them all! Damn them all!

When her screams were replaced by her sobs, she curled herself into a small ball and cried. Knowing that it would be highly inevitable to dodge those emotions. Every emotion and conscious was returned to her because he had truly set her free. She was back to being an angel.

Chuckling, that was what made her stop her sobs and turn to the direction of something poking at her. Chuckling, that sound that made her anger nearly return with vengeance but when she turned to see Lucifer. She knew there was nothing she could do about it.

"My son…" he chuckled as he drew closer. "He's always been a … special kind of creation but hey what can I ever do. I take what I get and at times I wish I could change certain things about him. But look at where we are now, look at where you are and now, I'm trying to figure out, where is my son that I sent you to watch over?" he asked.

He crunched down and looked at him, barely moved by my face that was filled with emotions. Drenced with tears and snort on my face. Apathetic, Lucifer was barely moved by these kinds of things. He was the type who preffered to deal with experts and not beings who were immature and amateurs in their emotions.

He made me a professional but here I was being what he resented. "Did I not send you to watch over my son, Rose …" he questioned as he gently held my hair in his hands. Gently caressing it as if it was actual rose petals. "He remained … he remained in the garden of eve." I said slowly.

"Why are you here? Crying and screaming in my temple as though a child who just got denied its precious candy. Why are you not with my son?!" he snapped as he suddenly pulled my hair, causing me to cry out.

"There were too many things going on! Too many problems that we hadn't predicted coming and they just wouldn't stop!" she cried as she tried to pull away from him as he dragged her backwards. "So in other words you abondened my son in the garden of Eve?" he snapped as he continued.

"No! I swear No!" she cried out as she felt him near the stairs and threw her over them. "Tsk tsk, when I had discovered the feelings you had for my son, I thought it would be an advantage. I overlooked killing you. I gave you mercy and here you are!" he snapped. As he came my way again with speed.

Before I could run, he grabbed my hair and carried me up. Dangling me over the bottom less pit that led to his pets and fire. I could hear the howls and I knew that this might as well be my end.

"No! I beg of you!" I cried out before he could say anything.

Then, he let go.
