Chapter Fifty_Five: Angel X Darkness POV: The Foretelling

The flaming woman reappeared without haste and stood before them with a cunning smile. Her eyes that had flashed a thunder of surprise added a wild spark to the flame. It was like her features could clearly be seen despite the flame.

"Well, well, well, doesn't this defy the odds. An angel and a demon, both in the same place at the same time. Not trying to kill each other but walking in what seems to be perfect harmony. This must be my lucky, lucky day." She said and took a step forward.

They stared at her, their voices stuck in their throats as they weren't sure how to approach this. Though they both had encountered the woman before, they knew that she was one that could easily read through emotions and words.

Aural turned to look at Aamon but the demon had a bored look on his face as though questioning why he had decided to even come here. Which initially meant it would have been her thought but they needed to retrace their steps that way they could find what needed to be found.

Even if they didn't like the damn spirit.

"Have you come to see if you will be able to fall in love or if heaven and hell will allow it?" She suddenly asked, as they both stared at her. What on earth was she asking and why would she ask such?!

He's handsome, yes, but she wouldn't consider it. "You would if he were an Angel." The spirit said and Aural grumbled at her. He didn't need to know that.

Wait what?!

Aural where is your mind right now. You need to focus. Find the golden angel and leave. That is it. She heard a sigh. Escape Aamon's lips and she turned to see him lean back on the cave's wall. He seemed uninterested in both the spirit and her. This wasn't his focus and here she was making it my focus.

"How can I help you?" The spirit said as she took a step forward. "How do we find him?" Aamon asked, whilst not moving from his position. "Find who?" The spirit asked with an innocent look. "You aren't dumb spirit. You have never been, so help me, help you." He said.

"Since you are from hell, maybe we can make a deal, there is a soul that I need from down there. I want it and I will consider maybe pointing in the right direction." The spirit offered. "No, deal. You are being vague, I need more than that. You can't trick a trickster." Aamon said, yawning.

"Well, maybe there is something else we can do." The spirit said as she took a step forward, she walked around and Aural felt as if she could hear whistles. Yet when she looked around, she couldn't see where it was coming from and who was blowing them.

"I want your first born." She said and placed a finger by Aural's stomach. I looked at her confused and tried to step back but I couldn't. It felt as though she was stuck in that position. "I will overlook so many things, even laws that tie me in place but only if you both give me your first born." She continued and Aural felt the burning sensation in her stomach.

"We aren't together and you know that we can never be." Aural defended while trying her best to move away from the woman. "Love has a way of brewing and when the ingredients are mixed to pour in a pot, no one can stop the stiring when it takes place." The spirit said, mysteriously.

"I want the first born you both will create together. I want that child's soul and I want that child's life." She said, making sure that the demon wouldn't trick her. She knew how they worked. They were smooth with words and would always let the deals take place but the way in which one had said something.

That's how they would apply the deal. "Deal or no deal, demon?" She said with her hands glowing a bright blue. Aural felt as if she was about to scream. She wanted to tell the spirit that they didn't love each other. That there was no way for them to be together but she could barely even feel her body.

Barely even move.

"Deal," came Aamon's words and a scream spread through the cave followed by the cry of a child.
