Bonfire Party

Scott was sitting back on the sofa resting his cheek on his hand, and his arm across his abdomen. Christina stood up in front of him, with her hand across her chest and her foot tapping the floor. She can't believe what just happened between some girl and Scott.

"Christina, will you stop? I'm starting to get a headache", Scott said as he's about to lose his patience, rubbing his temple. He irked on the fact that Lucas crossed the line touching and staring at his Luna. Additionally, walking her back with her hand in his arm? He couldn't even touch her hair, and here's Lucas getting closer to Diana when they only just met.

Christina stopped and looked at Scott. "So this girl, do you like her?", she asked as she clenched her jaw.

Scott wanted to be frank and tell Christina that his entire existence is meant for Diana. But he doesn't want to rush things since, he still have questions about her whole being. If only she imprinted on him too, it wouldn't be as complicated as now.

"You don't have to worry about that", he answered. Christina's family came from a bloodline of Omegas. They are trusted and loyal. She thought that if she changed her fate and hooked up with Scott, she'd be able to start a bloodline of Alphas in their family.

"Fine, I just can't believe she rode Apollo. That horse is unpredictable. And the strawberry shortcake? You never gave me one!", she sat down pouting her lips. Christina once touched Apollo, he bit her and almost trampled her down.

"Because you're allergic to strawberries! And maybe Apollo's mood is changing", he laughed at how childish she is. Christina may have a very strong personality, but at times, she's naive because she grew up getting everything she wants. "Fine, I'll make you a different one then", Scott said just to make her stop doing this nonsense.

"Really??", her mood suddenly changed and smiled sweetly, jumping onto Scott hugging his arm. He then nodded in approval.

Next thing they know, Lucas opened the door with a grinning smile.

"Okay! I'll just go freshen up! We'll have the bonfire party tonight right?", Christina said as she stood up and grabbed her purse.

"Yep, go. And wear something decent, you'll scare the people away", Lucas said aiming a bolster pillow at her.

"F*ck off, Lucas! I'll just go to the restroom", she dodged the pillow and flipped her hair as she have gone into the hallways.

Scott who was tilting his head back felt someone staring at him. He looked at his side and found Lucas sitting pretty with his eyes blinking several times as he leaned towards him.

"What??", he furiously asked.

"First… You. Are. One. Lucky. Alpha.", Lucas said with a slow clap. Lucas have always had a good eye in women, and he certainly would say the Diana is an epitome of elegance and explicit beauty.

"Here we go..", Scott said as he rubbed his face with his palms and laid down on the sofa hugging a pillow. He couldn't hide his smile.

"The question is.. why did she not imprinted on you?", Lucas asked in a serious tone, leaning backwards.

"I knew you would figure it out soon. What do you think?", Scott sighed facing up.

"Are you sure you imprinted on her?", he curiously asked glancing at Scott.

"One hundred percent.. The world stopped spinning at the sight of her. There's d*mn butterflies in my f**kin' stomach when she smiles. And her scent drives me wild." He nonhesitantly said, confirming his feelings to Diana. "Her scent, it's faint though, compared to what the elders say that the scent of a mate is usually strong like it's the only thing you can smell . But with her, I need to be in a close distance to smell her scent. Faint but enough to make me go crazy", he added and closed his eyes imagining visions of her.

"According to our archives, Alpha males are most commonly attracted to Alpha females. But, our clan don't ever imprint on humans.", Lucas pursed his lips as he exhales. "Do you think she knows she's a wolf?", he asked.

"That's what I'm trying to figure out, and my sense of control is being tested these days", Scott said hugging the pillow even harder.

"I can tell! Haha.. She looks so familiar by the way. I wonder where I saw her", Lucas said as he bit his lower lip.

"She's not a prostitute and she doesn't go to pubs and bars full of harlots.", as Scott teased Lucas and shook his head lightly side to side.

"I'm offended! I am a very clean, and decent man.", Lucas said glaring at Scott.

"Hey, can you figure out who invited her in this island?", Scott sat upright and looked for his lighter in his pocket and lit a cigarette.

"I'm on it. And uh.. I invited her to the bonfire tonight by the way", he awkwardly smiled at Scott showing his white set of teeth.

"You didnt dare?!", Scott didn't invited her on purpose because he knows she doesn't like crowded places and also, he doesn't like the idea of men staring at her.

"Because why not??", Lucas said as he enjoying teasing Scott. "I live for the moments that Scott Devlin gets his self control".

"I don't want her to be seen by other men. And you, hands off my Luna", as Scott threw a pillow on Lucas.

Meanwhile, Christina was listening by the door. "So she didn't imprint..", she softly whispered and smirked.

"Bonfire party, huh?", she mumbled as she soak in the bath tub, with her hair twisted up holding a cold bottle of orange juice against her face while staring at the beautiful scenery of the ocean. The sun was about to set. The windows are tinted enough for her to see the dreamy view clearly, and not be harmed by the heat of the sun setting. She put down the bottle and took a sponge to scrub her delicate skin. She sat upright and scrubbed her back side of her right hip, the side where she had a deep scar when she was little. It was dreadful, she had it covered up with a dreamcatcher tattoo.

She didn't have a good memory how it happened. But ever since she was little, she would always have nightmares of her being attacked by a big bad wolf. Her mother told her it was something not worth remembering, and it is best for them to clear their minds with an unspoken truth. Diana thought getting a dreamcatcher tattoo would keep the bad dreams away, as it covered the scar of a terrible past.

She was about to wrap up when suddenly, someone knocked on the door.
