Haemorrhage

The village's army were all fighting with the groggs at the field center but it wasn't as intense as one person at one corner of the field.

Jade was now even more strategic in his fight with Musc who was having the hardening and fire abilities after taking the two drugs.

Musc sprinted towards Jade with a fist held out by his side, getting close to Jade, Jade squatted slightly, twisted his body and held Musc behind his waist.

With his hands hardened Musc held Jade's hand and started crushing his bones. Jade was in extreme pain but held tightly to his fist till Musc flung him backward.

Musc who was in rage pick up his bony sword and nailed it right in Jade stomach, clipping him to the ground.

Jade couldn't help but shouted, alarming everybody on the field. Musc pulled out the sword and left, going for his next victim, leaving Jade who folded himself into a ball like a new born child, groaning in pain.

In minutes, Rhen was the first to run down to where Jade was. Seeing him groan in pain made tears ran down her cheeks, she quickly raised him up with his hand on her neck.

As she turned to head to the direction of Mrs Lillian a female grogg was standing before her but immediately, an arrow went through the grogg's back.

"Leave them to us, take Jade to Mrs Lillian." Kell said. Peter and Billy joined her and the three were holding the groggs back.

Rhen hurriedly took Jade to Mrs Lillian, panicking on the way.

They got to her and Rhen lay Jade on the floor. Mrs Lillian saw him and was shocked, she quickly took a wooden plate containing white dusty substance. She poured a great amount into Jade's mouth.

The wound started to heal but Jade was not responding.

"What is it? Why isn't he waking up?" Rhen asked with tears all over her face.

"Get it together, he's dying, he has lost too much blood. We need to get him to Dr Bryan for a blood transfusion." Mr Lillian said. She quickly opened a teleporter to Dr Bryan's lab and the two of them carried Jade inside.

"What's going on here? you're supposed to be at the battlefield." Joe asked.

"Where's Dr Bryan? We need to do a blood transfusion immediately." Rhen shouted.

Dr Bryan who was on the other side of the lab rushed down to them along with Mark.

"What happened to him?" Dr Bryan asked.

"He was injured, I healed the wound but he won't last long, he already lost too much blood." Mrs Lillian said.

"First, we need his father or a close relative for the blood transfusion. Mark, get Mr Arthur." Dr Bryan said. "Don't worry he won't die yet since the haemorrhage has been stopped."

Mark without wasting time dashed through the door to get Mr Arthur.

"Oh God, please, please....." Rhen kept murmuring to her self.

Sometime passed and Mark walked in with Mr Arthur, they went to see Jade who was lying almost lifeless.

"What happened to him?" Mr Arthur asked.

"He got injured and lost too much blood..."Mrs Lillian said.

"....we need a blood transfusion immediately, he's dying." Dr Bryan stated.

"(Biting his lips) this is going to sound weird but....I'm not his father, so my blood won't match his blood type." Mr Arthur said, surprising all of them in the room.

"What wrong with you? What do you mean you are not his father? Jade's dying." Rhen shouted.

"I said I'm not, if you want to save him get the king." Mr Arthur shouted back.

"What do you mean by 'get the king'. You are his father, are you dreaming or something." Mark asked.

"That's enough, I'll get the king. We would hear his story later." Mrs Lillian said as she opened her teleporter and went in.

Coming out of the battlefield where the king was fighting, the king was flying towards her. The grogg's king, Vigord had heavily punched him right on the chest.

"Nice timing. Your majesties, I have to borrow my king for a minute." Mr Lillian stated after catching him in her hands.

"What do you mean?" King Slaran asked.

"See for yourself." Mrs Lillian said, then they both entered the teleporter.

When the two entered the lab the others turned towards them immediately. King Slaran, quickly noticed the body on the bed before him.

"What's this? What happened to him?" The king asked.

"Story short, he's dying of blood loss and we need a blood transfusion. Mr Arthur here said we should summon you." Dr Bryan replied.

"And why is my presence needed, Mr Arthur?" The king asked, turning to Mr Arthur.

"Our blood types are different so I thought you might be able to save him or something. Dr Bryan said jade needs immediate attention." Mr Arthur explained.

The king was staring at Jade while it looked like he was deep in thoughts. "I can't save him."

"What! You can't?!" Mark and Rhen shouted.

"Whatsoever your decision is you better make it quick, Jade's temperature is going down." Joe said, placing the back of his palm on Jade's neck.

"That's enough, what should I do?" The king said angrily.

"Follow me." Dr Bryan said. The two of them went into a room in the lab while Mark and Joe rode Jade to the same room leaving the others in the lab.

Rhen, Mrs Lillian and Mr Arthur was waiting in anticipation. After thirty minutes the four came out.

"How's he?" Rhen asked immediately.

"He's okay, he just need some time to rest." Dr Bryan replied.

"It's getting dark, I'll come back. I need to join the others." The king said and Mrs Lillian opened a teleporter for him to go through.

The king returned to the field with Mrs Lillian. Vigord was holding king Herman on his neck almost lifeless while king Rizzo was on his last leg.

"Oh! You finally came back. I thought you ran away." Vigord taunted. "Come over here let's finish this war."

All the armies were lying on the floor, only Musc along with about thirty groggs were standing at the center of the field.

"Your majesty, we need to retreat." Mrs Lillian said.

"Any way to get them back with us?" King Slaran asked.

Mrs Lillian started chanting in strange language and after some time she stretched her hands outward. Immediately, a chain was wrapped around the groggs king body.

He couldn't move, not even an inch.

She quickly retrieve king Herman's body while king Rizzo followed them through the teleporter she made.

"Byag, why didn't you do something? You let them escaped, are you going to lay there forever." The king shouted. Then the chains on his body started to varnish.

"I'm sorry my Lord but the damage was done on my head, it'd take a considerable amount of time to adjust my brain to prevent it from being destroyed and besides it takes time to regenerate." Byag explained, standing up from the floor.

"Tch! Lame excuses." The king said, walking to the center of the field. "Let's rest for now, tomorrow we'll continue. Musc, gather the soldiers who are still breathing we'll use them as hostages to end this humiliating war quickly."

' Just you wait, I'll repay you for decapitating me. I bet you won't see this coming.' Byag thought to himself, giving off an evil vibe.
