Eli Miller

A boy, who looked to be around the age of 8, was standing in an alley, not so far away from a mall.

He wore a black hoodie with its hood on his head. Out of the hoodie, you could see his white hair peeking out.

He was breathing heavily, his heart beating out of his chest, and sweat could be seen slowly flowing down his forehead because of adrenaline.

He just did something that he never thought he would do in his whole life. He stole something. He just went into the mall, went into a shop, and saw a toy that was to his liking, but he didn't have the money to pay for it, he really wanted it though. So he stole it.

After that calming down he went home and played with it, but after a few days he got bored of it, so for a few days it collected dust in his wardrobe. Then something came to his mind. 'I could sell it, and get money for it.'

And that's what he did. He put the toy in his school backpack and took it to school. There he sold the toy to his schoolmate for $11! To him it was so much money, that he couldn't believe his classmate had that much money. His family is not wealthy, he is from a low-class family, and he barely got any allowance money, so he was very happy.

He decided that he'll continue to do this.

The next day successfully he, again, stole something. This time it was a Call of Mission video game! That was not all! He also stole a 50.000 piece puzzle and an Air John shoes!

He took those to school and sold them, and he made a lot of money. He sold the Call of Mission for $24, the puzzle for $368, and the shoes for $48. Altogether with the toy he sold not long ago, he made $451!

After that for some time he didn't steal anything and didn't sell anything either, of course. But one day one of his girl classmates came to him and asked him if he had anything for sale. Eli didn't have anything, but he said if she has enough money, he could get her anything she wants.

She was happy with his response, so she told him she really wants the brand new Barbie doll that came out not long ago, but her parents didn't want to buy it for her and didn't let her buy it with her allowance money, saying it would be disadvantageous for her studies or something like that. She also said that she would give him $28 if would get it for her, and he agreed.

His classmates didn't know how to get these things, they only knew that Eli has these things and they can buy them from him.

Again, Eli, without any problems shoplifted.

Toward the end of the year, he stole multiple things and stole them. Altogether at the end of the year, he made $573. Before the winter holiday, he got another 'order', another big piece of puzzles, with the offer of $230, of course he accepted.

But this time things didn't go according to his plans.

As he was heading out of the store with the puzzle in his bag, the alarm alarmed and the mall cop instantly, as he teleported, appeared in front of Eli and got apprehended by him. Eli tried to escape from him, but he got caught.

Eli has been convicted of larceny and sentenced to one year at a juvenile detention center for larceny! He got sent to Bergon-Cox Juvenile Detention Facility. And he has been forced to drop out of primary school.

In juvie, since he had nothing to really do, he started working out.

In the facility, he met 9 other boys, some of them a lot older than him.

Will, 17 years old was in for joyriding, Jace, 16 years old was in for keying a car, Chester, 13 years old was in for credit card fraud, Samuel, 15 years old was in for credit card fraud as well, Carson, 13 years old was in for criminal mischief, Mathis, 16 years old was in for breaking and entering, Tom 14 years old was in for breaking and entering as well, Etienne, 17 years old was in for price tag switching, and Owen, 14 years old was in for carjacking.

Lucky for Eli, they weren't as bad as they seemed and he befriended them and they taught him a lot of things about burglary, carjacking, etc. His year in the juvie didn't seem bad.
