Shallow Caves Are The Worst... Deep Caves Are The Best!
I didn't know why I did that to myself!
At first I was totally excited about killing that monster all alone. I wanted to boast with someone, but Aroon was already in a world of his own.
"Sigh, I have to wait then for you to wake up," I pulled out the sword while making sure the monster was dead by stabbing it again. It didn't even move a muscle when I did that. "It's totally dead for sure," I said before returning to Aroon.
My top priority would be to take him inside the cave first, which was a mission I didn't expect to be this hard. His body seemed like a heavy weight of a ton or more.
Just lifting him over my shoulders made my back arch and ache. However I endured. I was sure that staying here in the open would bring us more deadly beasts day and night.
I was lucky enough to kill one monster this time, but I couldn't guarantee I would do that the next time.
